Language: Applicants to Chinese-taught master's or doctoral programmes must reach HSK Level 4. Applicants who have already obtained a degree from a Chinese university taught in Chinese are exempt from providing HSK evidence. Applicants to programmes taught in a foreign language must provide TOEFL 79 or above, IELTS 6.0 or above, Duolingo 105 or above, or an equivalent language ability certificate.. Age: Master's applicants must hold a bachelor's degree and be no older than 35; doctoral applicants must hold a master's degree and be no older than 40. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good physical and mental health.

The 2026 undergraduate prospectus closes admission on June 15, 2026 and Beijing Government/Experience Beilin scholarship applications on June 8, 2026; these rounds are closed. It states no opening day. Undergraduate CSC uses Type A through the home-country embassy. The previously reviewed 2022/23 graduate CSC window was February 1–April 8, 2022, also closed. No dated 2027 window is confirmed. The new PDF's metadata still says 2024, but its cover and programme catalogue identify 2026/2026–27.

Historical2022 CSC university postgraduate program

Register in CSC and the BFU portal. Submit CSC Type B with agency10022 and upload its application form to BFU. The historical notice instructs applicants to choose self-funded in BFU; the university changes the funding category if awarded. After preliminary review, pay CNY800 online; only then does academic review begin. Successful academic-review applicants attend an interview. Prepare passport, notarized diploma, transcripts, language proof, a1000-plus study plan, two academic recommendations, six-month medical/police evidence and financial proof; doctoral plans need a Chinese supervisor signature and art applicants need specified works. Chinese applicants require HSK4; English proof includes TOEFL above79, IELTS above6 or Duolingo above105. Results were scheduled July2022.

  1. Open the university link for your degree level. On an admissions website, find the international-student application entry, then register or sign in. Button names vary between systems.
  2. Choose the correct entry year, degree, teaching language and program. Read its requirements before selecting your funding option.
  3. Enter personal information as it appears in your passport. List education and employment dates accurately, and enter a reliable email address.
  4. Complete the study plan and referee fields. Upload each document to its matching slot; enter a CSC application number only if your route asks for one.
  5. Preview the whole application. Follow the fee instructions, submit the form and check that the system acknowledges submission. Saving a draft does not submit it.

  2. Select the application category specified in the current scholarship call. Type A commonly uses a dispatching authority and Type B a university; confirm the exact category and agency number in that route's current notice and check the receiving institution displayed by the system.

  4. Upload the requested documents, review all fields and submit. Download the completed application form; sign and upload it to the university or dispatching-authority system when instructed.
  5. Save your application number and a copy of the submitted form. If you withdraw to edit, submit again before the deadline and tell the receiving office if it already began reviewing your application.
