The 2027/2028 cycle in dates

  1. Oct 2026 (expected)The 2027/2028 CGS application round opens; portals and university guidelines go live.
  2. December – AprilApplication deadlines. Type A (embassy) online CGSIS submission is often due by early February 2026 with embassy document submission by late February 2026; Type B (university) deadlines run December–April, and most universities close January–March.
