CSC scholarship deadlines by university

There is no single CSC deadline. Each university, embassy and ministry sets its own, and a university's scholarship deadline can be earlier than its general admission deadline. A Chinese government overview published in August 2026 says applications typically open in September and close by the end of March. Use that only for planning. The notice for your route sets the real date.

Below are the dated windows we have confirmed, then deadline notes for 266 universities with their recorded sources. For the next cycle, see the 2027-2028 guide.

A source link may lead to a university page, an official republication, or an archived copy when the university page cannot be reached. Check the linked page and its read date, then confirm the current deadline with the university or the authority for your application route.

Upcoming dated deadlines

Only windows with an exact date in an official notice. Past dates drop off automatically. Read the program line: many are language or short programs, and some belong to other schemes such as the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship rather than CSC, or are self-funded admission windows.
