Application dates, fees and sources

For the 2026/2027 academic year, Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine (陕西中医药大学) publishes a single dated self-funded admission window. Its International Student Enrollment Guide for 2026/2027, issued by the School of International Education on 8 December 2025, requires applicants to send scanned application documents to gjy@sntcm.edu.cn by 31 May 2026; the guide also states that the recommended CSCA (China Scholastic Competency Assessment) test sittings for the same intake were December 2025, January 2026, March 2026 and April 2026, and that undergraduate applicants who sat the test later had until 31 May 2026 to submit the final score report. Master's applicants are additionally assessed by written test and interview, and admission results are issued by email. Registration for the 2026/2027 intake ran from 1 to 30 September 2026, and the guide warns that early arrivals are not accommodated and that late arrivals forfeit both admission and scholarship eligibility. The 31 May 2026 deadline has now closed. No separate self-funded window, no university-scholarship deadline and no CSC deadline is published as a date on the university's own pages: the 2026/2027 guide is silent on the Chinese Government Scholarship, whose national windows are set by the China Scholarship Council and the Chinese embassy rather than by the university. No 2027/2028 intake notice had been published as of 17 September 2026. Confidence is "verified" for the 31 May 2026 self-funded deadline because it is dated in an official 2026/2027 intake guide; the scholarship windows are not dated by the university and are therefore not asserted here.

For Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine, refer to the current official admissions notice for opening and closing dates by program and intake. Dates from a previous intake should not be used as the next intake's deadline. Directory-wide opening checks were last completed September 14, 2026.

Refer to the university's current admissions notice for the application fee, any available exemptions and payment instructions.

Document checklist and upload instructions

Use the document list for your exact program. Prepare these common items, then add any scholarship-specific forms:

  • Identity: passport information page and photograph. Copy your name, birth date and passport number exactly into each application.
  • Education: diploma or official expected-graduation certificate, transcripts and any required degree authentication. Include the original language and certified translations where requested.
  • Language: the required HSK, IELTS, TOEFL or accepted alternative. A medium-of-instruction letter replaces a test only if the program allows it.
  • Academic materials: study plan or research proposal; graduate recommendation letters; supervisor or pre-admission letter when required. Some systems send referees a private submission link.
  • Additional requirements: CSCA results for applicable undergraduate routes; portfolio for relevant arts programs; medical form, police clearance, financial guarantee or guardian documents when listed. Check validity periods before arranging time-sensitive documents.

Scan each complete document clearly. Use the file type and size limit shown beside its upload field; combine multi-page documents only where the system permits. Open every uploaded file to check legibility, page order, signatures and stamps. Keep a copy of everything you submit.

How to fill the university application

Follow the submission method in your programme's notice. The steps below apply when it requires an online form; email and paper applications follow their separate source-linked instructions above.

  1. Open the university link for your degree level. On an admissions website, find the international-student application entry, then register or sign in. Button names vary between systems.
  2. Choose the correct entry year, degree, teaching language and program. Read its requirements before selecting your funding option.

  4. Complete the study plan and referee fields. Upload each document to its matching slot; enter a CSC application number only if your route asks for one.
  5. Preview the whole application. Follow the fee instructions, submit the form and check that the system acknowledges submission. Saving a draft does not submit it.
How to fill the CSC application
  1. Open the CSC portal below and register or sign in. Complete your personal details before starting the scholarship application.
  2. Select the application category specified in the current scholarship call. Type A commonly uses a dispatching authority and Type B a university; confirm the exact category and agency number in that route's current notice and check the receiving institution displayed by the system.
  3. Select the degree category, teaching language, major and study period specified by the eligible program. Keep these consistent with your university application.
  4. Upload the requested documents, review all fields and submit. Download the completed application form; sign and upload it to the university or dispatching-authority system when instructed.
  5. Save your application number and a copy of the submitted form. If you withdraw to edit, submit again before the deadline and tell the receiving office if it already began reviewing your application.

Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine CSC scholarship FAQ

Does Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine accept CSC Type B applications?

Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine appears in our directory based on prior CSC host or program evidence. For 2027-2028 Type B participation, consult the university's current international-admissions notice and confirm the application channel and Agency Number before applying.

Is the CSC scholarship at Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine fully funded?

A full Chinese Government Scholarship normally covers tuition, accommodation or a housing subsidy, medical insurance, and a monthly stipend. That does not prove Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine will offer a full Type B award in 2027-2028: some routes are partial or unavailable, so confirm the current notice and your final award letter.

What is the application deadline for Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine?

The latest official information checked September 17, 2026 says: For the 2026/2027 academic year, Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine (陕西中医药大学) publishes a single dated self-funded admission window. Check the current notice for your degree, route, and intake before applying.

What can I study at Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine on a CSC scholarship?

Fields listed for Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine in Xianyang, Shaanxi include 国际教育学院 (School of International Education), 中医学院, 药学院, 针灸推拿学院. If its current CSC notice confirms your degree level and subject, use the official program catalogue to check the teaching language and identify a suitable supervisor.

Does Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine charge an application fee?

No application fee is published for Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine, and no official page states that applying is free. The 2026/2027 International Student Enrollment Guide (陕西中医药大学 2026/2027 学年国际学生招生简章, issued 8 December 2025) sets out a full 收费标准 (fee schedule) section covering only tuition, accommodation and insurance, and instructs applicants to email their documents to gjy@sntcm.edu.cn; it names no application, registration or handling fee anywhere in its text. The School of International Education's own pages were searched on 17 September 2026 — the home page, the Recruitment Programs (招生项目), Notices (通知公告), Admission Guide (入学须知) and File Download (文件下载) listings, and the International Student Scholarship Management Measures — and none of them publishes an application fee. Because neither a charge nor an explicit free-application statement could be read, the fee is recorded as unknown rather than confirmed-free, in line with the rule that an omitted fee is never evidence that applying is free. Tuition is published separately and is recorded in the tuition field, not here.
