Application dates, fees and sources

The 2026-titled undergraduate prospectus, published November 27, 2025, prints January 1–August 15, 2025; its English companion prints February 1–August 15 for autumn without an explicit year, and September 1–December 15 only for spring non-degree study. This year/opening conflict remains unresolved and does not confirm a 2027 opening. It gives July 30 for self-funded CSCA results and 15 days before the named scholarship cutoff for scholarship applicants. Separate 2026 calls give March 1, 2026 for CSC High Level Graduate, April 12, 2026 for MOE–Guangxi ASEAN and May 10, 2026 for Guangxi Government ASEAN. Those scholarship deadlines have passed. The general undergraduate brochure also prints March 30, 2025 for MOE–Guangxi CSCA results; the separate April 2026 call must be consulted for its own process. The President’s Freshman Scholarship is assessed after enrolment. The January 1, 2024 standing graduate page gives June 1–August 1 without a year and is not a 2026 or 2027 call. None of these sources confirms a fresh 2027 degree window.

For Guangxi Medical University, refer to the current official admissions notice for opening and closing dates by program and intake. Dates from a previous intake should not be used as the next intake's deadline. Directory-wide opening checks were last completed September 14, 2026.

Fee note: The 2026 undergraduate prospectus lists CNY 800 application/registration, CNY 35,000/year English MBBS tuition or CNY 28,000/year Chinese-taught undergraduate tuition, CNY 6,000/year/person double-room accommodation, CNY 800/year/person insurance and a separate CNY 1,000/person accommodation deposit. The application fee is not refunded after failed preliminary review. An admission-confirmation deposit of unstated amount is required after pre-admission, offsets first-year tuition and can be forfeited for withdrawal or unmet registration requirements. Its terms are not expressly assigned to the separate CNY 1,000 accommodation deposit. Chinese and English brochures differ on whether all fees are paid before registration or after enrolment; confirm payment instructions with GXMU. Scholarship application-charge amounts must be checked in the named call.

CSC High Level Graduate: master’s/doctoral applicants only

For the historical 2026 call, submit CSC Type B using agency 10598 before March 1, 2026. Then use the GXMU portal, upload the downloaded CSC application and supporting documents, and pay the application charge as instructed; its amount is not specified in this call. The notice tells applicants to register a CSC account even if they previously held one. University review/interview precedes pre-admission and nomination; CSC makes the final award decision. Await formal admission and registration instructions. Coverage includes registration, tuition, campus accommodation, insurance and a living allowance whose amount is unstated. Transport is self-funded. Covered registration does not remove the separate instruction to pay an upfront application charge.

High Level Graduate eligibility and full documents

The Chinese research plan is at least 800 characters for master’s or 1,500 for doctorate; the doctoral plan requires a supervisor signature. Separate CSC MOE–Guangxi ASEAN scholarship, including undergraduate entry

The April 10, 2026 call required submission before April 12, 2026 using CSC Type B agency 10598, then GXMU uploads and an application charge of unstated amount. University review/interview and pre-admission precede provincial/CSC assessment. ASEAN applicants only: the call lists two undergraduate, five master’s and two doctoral admission/award places. Any other 2026–2027 Type B application bars a repeat application here, regardless of that application’s outcome. The call’s age maxima are 25/35/40, with historical birth and guardian markers stated separately. Passport validity must extend beyond December 31, 2026. The qualification-supplement clause incorrectly prints September 2025 within the 2026 call; confirm that conflict rather than treating it as a current cutoff.

MOE–Guangxi documents and language preparation

Upload the CSC form, passport, notarised qualification/expected-graduation proof and transcripts, CSCA for bachelor’s, language results, study plan, references, three-minute video, full medical form and police certificate; medical/police records are valid six months. Undergraduate HSK 4 or graduate HSK 5 requires total at least 220 valid two years; the separate call does not state the undergraduate brochure’s component-above-70 threshold. The undergraduate Chinese/English plan is at least 500 characters; graduate plans are in Chinese, at least 800/1,500 characters, with doctoral supervisor signature required. Undergraduates provide two school-teacher references; graduates two professor/associate-professor references. Optional works may be included. Funded Chinese preparation is within this 2026 award; it does not establish fresh 2027 admission. Maximum award duration is five years for medical undergraduate study, four for other undergraduate or graduate study including preparation.

Document checklist and upload instructions

Use the document list for your exact program. Prepare these common items, then add any scholarship-specific forms:

  • Identity: passport information page and photograph. Copy your name, birth date and passport number exactly into each application.
  • Education: diploma or official expected-graduation certificate, transcripts and any required degree authentication. Include the original language and certified translations where requested.
  • Language: the required HSK, IELTS, TOEFL or accepted alternative. A medium-of-instruction letter replaces a test only if the program allows it.
  • Academic materials: study plan or research proposal; graduate recommendation letters; supervisor or pre-admission letter when required. Some systems send referees a private submission link.
  • Additional requirements: CSCA results for applicable undergraduate routes; portfolio for relevant arts programs; medical form, police clearance, financial guarantee or guardian documents when listed. Check validity periods before arranging time-sensitive documents.

Scan each complete document clearly. Use the file type and size limit shown beside its upload field; combine multi-page documents only where the system permits. Open every uploaded file to check legibility, page order, signatures and stamps. Keep a copy of everything you submit.

How to fill the university application

Follow the submission method in your programme's notice. The steps below apply when it requires an online form; email and paper applications follow their separate source-linked instructions above.

  1. Open the university link for your degree level. On an admissions website, find the international-student application entry, then register or sign in. Button names vary between systems.
  2. Choose the correct entry year, degree, teaching language and program. Read its requirements before selecting your funding option.
  3. Enter personal information as it appears in your passport. List education and employment dates accurately, and enter a reliable email address.
  4. Complete the study plan and referee fields. Upload each document to its matching slot; enter a CSC application number only if your route asks for one.
  5. Preview the whole application. Follow the fee instructions, submit the form and check that the system acknowledges submission. Saving a draft does not submit it.
How to fill the CSC application
  1. Open the CSC portal below and register or sign in. Complete your personal details before starting the scholarship application.
  2. Select the application category specified in the current scholarship call. Type A commonly uses a dispatching authority and Type B a university; confirm the exact category and agency number in that route's current notice and check the receiving institution displayed by the system.
  3. Select the degree category, teaching language, major and study period specified by the eligible program. Keep these consistent with your university application.
  4. Upload the requested documents, review all fields and submit. Download the completed application form; sign and upload it to the university or dispatching-authority system when instructed.
  5. Save your application number and a copy of the submitted form. If you withdraw to edit, submit again before the deadline and tell the receiving office if it already began reviewing your application.

University agency number on record: 10598. For Type B, match it to Guangxi Medical University in CSC. Type A uses your dispatching authority's number instead.
