Qingdao University of Science and Technology (青岛科技大学) publishes its international admissions dates through the International College (国际学院, cic.qust.edu.cn); every page was read on 17 September 2026 and the 2026/2027 intake windows have now closed. Self-funded degree applicants for the 2026 autumn intake: the university's 2026 International Student Admission Brochure (青岛科技大学2026年国际学生招生简章, published 12 December 2025) states that degree-seeking students applying for autumn entry apply before 31 May of that year (攻读学位的留学生,秋季入学申请时间为当年5月31日以前), so the 2026 window closed on 31 May 2026. Long-term Chinese-language students: the brochure sets 30 November of the preceding year for spring entry and 31 May of the current year for autumn entry; the separate 2026 Autumn Semester Chinese Language Trainee Brochure (青岛科技大学2026年秋季学期汉语进修生招生简章), which gives the study period as September 2026 to December 2026 or June 2027, states an application closing date of 31 May 2026 (申请截止日期 2026年5月31日) — closed. CSC High-Level Postgraduate Program (中国政府奖学金高水平研究生项目, Type B) for 2026/2027: the university's own notice states an online application deadline of 31 January 2026 (网上申请截止时间:2026年1月31日), with first-stage material review results sent by e-mail in early February 2026 and teaching beginning in early September 2026 — closed. Shandong Provincial Government Scholarship for Foreign Students (山东省政府外国留学生奖学金): both the university's scholarship page and its 2026 brochure state the closing date as 30 April (申请截止日期:4月30日) — closed for the 2026 intake. Enterprise Scholarship for Foreign Students (外国留学生企业奖学金): the brochure gives the same 30 April closing date and restricts it to Thai nationals. No 2027/2028 intake admission notice had been published on cic.qust.edu.cn as of 17 September 2026, so this window covers the 2026/2027 intake only.

For Qingdao University of Science and Technology, refer to the current official admissions notice for opening and closing dates by program and intake. Fee note: QUST charges an application fee (报名费) of CNY 400. Its own Study Costs page (留学费用, cic.qust.edu.cn/zsxx/lxfy.htm) publishes a registration-fee column reading 「本科生 400元 / 硕士研究生 400元 / 博士研究生 400元」 and a long-term Chinese-language class column reading 「长期班 1学期 报名费 400元 学费 7000元」, with the note 「无论审核结果如何,报名费用均不退还」 — the fee is not refunded whatever the review outcome. The 2026 Autumn Semester Chinese Language Trainee Brochure repeats it in its document list: 「4.申请费400元」 and states 「申请费不予退还」. The Shandong Provincial Government Scholarship and the Enterprise Scholarship both state that they cover 免交报名费 (waive the registration fee), which confirms CNY 400 is a real charge for other applicants. This is the application fee and not tuition: the same page publishes tuition separately at CNY 17,000-20,500 per year for bachelor's, CNY 20,500-24,600 per year for master's and CNY 26,000-31,600 per year for doctoral study, which are recorded under tuition below.

Read the university's procedure
  1. 1

    Choose your program and intake

Check Qingdao University of Science and Technology's current prospectus for your degree, teaching language, eligibility and deadline. Arrange supervisor contact or pre-admission first when the program requires it.

    Read official admission instructions
  2. 2

    Prepare your documents

Use the checklist below, then compare it with your program's required documents. Prepare any signed forms, translations and referee submissions before starting the final application.

  3. 3

    Complete the university application

Use the official application link and complete the fields required for your route. Submit documents only through the channel and at the stage stated in the current notice. Pay a charge only when instructed; retain any submission confirmation the system provides.

  4. 4

    Review your offer and costs

Check tuition, accommodation, insurance, payment deadlines and any financial-guarantee requirement. Accept the offer through the university's stated process. A CSC application is not part of a purely self-funded route.

  5. 5

Track decisions and respond to requests

Check your portal and email for missing-document requests, interviews and results. If a form is returned, correct it and resubmit. Keep admission and scholarship decisions separate; follow the final offer for acceptance, registration and original-document checks.

Document checklist and upload instructions

Use the document list for your exact program. Prepare these common items, then add any scholarship-specific forms:

  • Identity: passport information page and photograph. Copy your name, birth date and passport number exactly into each application.
  • Education: diploma or official expected-graduation certificate, transcripts and any required degree authentication. Include the original language and certified translations where requested.
  • Language: the required HSK, IELTS, TOEFL or accepted alternative. A medium-of-instruction letter replaces a test only if the program allows it.
  • Academic materials: study plan or research proposal; graduate recommendation letters; supervisor or pre-admission letter when required. Some systems send referees a private submission link.
  • Additional requirements: CSCA results for applicable undergraduate routes; portfolio for relevant arts programs; medical form, police clearance, financial guarantee or guardian documents when listed. Check validity periods before arranging time-sensitive documents.

Scan each complete document clearly. Use the file type and size limit shown beside its upload field; combine multi-page documents only where the system permits. Open every uploaded file to check legibility, page order, signatures and stamps. Keep a copy of everything you submit.

Application templates
How to fill the university application

Follow the submission method in your programme's notice. The steps below apply when it requires an online form; email and paper applications follow their separate source-linked instructions above.

  1. Open the university link for your degree level. On an admissions website, find the international-student application entry, then register or sign in. Button names vary between systems.
  2. Choose the correct entry year, degree, teaching language and program. Read its requirements before selecting your funding option.
  3. Enter personal information as it appears in your passport. List education and employment dates accurately, and enter a reliable email address.
  4. Complete the study plan and referee fields. Upload each document to its matching slot; enter a CSC application number only if your route asks for one.
  5. Preview the whole application. Follow the fee instructions, submit the form and check that the system acknowledges submission. Saving a draft does not submit it.
How to fill the CSC application
  1. Open the CSC portal below and register or sign in. Complete your personal details before starting the scholarship application.
  2. Select the application category specified in the current scholarship call. Type A commonly uses a dispatching authority and Type B a university; confirm the exact category and agency number in that route's current notice and check the receiving institution displayed by the system.
  3. Select the degree category, teaching language, major and study period specified by the eligible program. Keep these consistent with your university application.
  4. Upload the requested documents, review all fields and submit. Download the completed application form; sign and upload it to the university or dispatching-authority system when instructed.
  5. Save your application number and a copy of the submitted form. If you withdraw to edit, submit again before the deadline and tell the receiving office if it already began reviewing your application.

University agency number on record: 10426. For Type B, match it to Qingdao University of Science and Technology in CSC. Type A uses your dispatching authority's number instead.

Is the CSC scholarship at Qingdao University of Science and Technology fully funded?

A full Chinese Government Scholarship normally covers tuition, accommodation or a housing subsidy, medical insurance, and a monthly stipend. That does not prove Qingdao University of Science and Technology will offer a full Type B award in 2027-2028: some routes are partial or unavailable, so confirm the current notice and your final award letter.

What is the application deadline for Qingdao University of Science and Technology?

Check the current notice for your degree, route, and intake before applying.
