Nanjing University of Science and Technology (南京理工大学), Nanjing, Jiangsu Province; founded 1953 and administered by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China (MIIT); a national key university and a 211 Project institution.

Lanshan Scholarship window

Open 30 November 2025 to 15 May 2026; applications reviewed in multiple rounds from January to June 2026 with conditional offers to outstanding candidates, admission results and document issuance in July 2026, conditional offer emails in early August and registration on campus in early September 2026.

CSC High-level Postgraduate Program window

Opened 5 November 2025 and closed 5 March 2026.

CSC Silk Road Program window

Closed 21 May 2026; intake September 2026 (tentative); master's programmes run 3 years and doctoral programmes 4 years, taught in Chinese or English.

CSC funding coverage

Tuition waiver; on-campus accommodation or an accommodation allowance; a monthly living stipend whose level depends on the degree programme; and comprehensive medical insurance purchased uniformly by the university (Comprehensive Medical Insurance for International Students in China).

Lanshan Scholarship priority disciplines

Category A fields Chemical Engineering and Technology, Control Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Optical Engineering; Category B+ fields Materials Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Software Engineering and Environmental Science and Engineering.

Language requirement — English taught

IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 80 or Duolingo 90 or equivalent.
