- CSCA requirement
- The 2026 undergraduate guide requires Professional Chinese and Mathematics, with its stated valid-HSK-4 exemption for Chinese Language applicants. The Chinese table requires science and engineering applicants to choose at least one of Physics or Chemistry; its English column also lists agriculture and medicine. Confirm the intended programme’s subjects rather than treat the English expansion as a universal requirement.

The 2027 language brochure confirms CNY 15,000/year or 7,500/semester. The older charging table published April 7, 2018 lists master’s tuition of CNY 21,000/25,000/27,000 and doctoral tuition of CNY 25,000/31,000/37,000 by liberal arts/science/fine arts bands; these postgraduate figures were not restated in a current postgraduate fee notice reviewed here.

- The 2026 undergraduate guide confirms the undergraduate figures as 文科15000元/学年、理科16000元/学年、术科19000元/学年. The charging standard page gives the full table by level and discipline band. The charging standard page is dated 2018-04-07 but the undergraduate figures it gives match those restated in the 2026 guide, while master's and doctoral figures appear only on the older page. The 2026 guide states that all undergraduate programmes are taught in Chinese.

- CNY 1,300 per academic year (four-person room) with air conditioning, television, water heater, private bathroom and internet connection; water, electricity and internet are paid separately by the student

- CNY 800 per year. The 2026 guide states that under Ministry of Education regulations international students must purchase comprehensive medical insurance during their stay in China, and that for students above the standard age the premium follows the insurance contract for that year.

- Entry requirements
- Language: Undergraduate programmes are all Chinese-taught. Except for Chinese Language majors (International Chinese Language Education, Applied Chinese, Chinese Language and Culture), undergraduate applicants must reach HSK Level 5 with 180 or above. Applicants for Chinese Language (Applied Chinese, Chinese Language and Culture) may enrol as complete beginners, while applicants for Chinese Language (International Chinese Language Education) must reach HSK Level 4 with 210 and HSKK Intermediate 60. Age: Applicants must be 18 years of age or above (born before September 1, 2008) and generally not older than 25, in good physical and mental health, meeting the physical examination requirements, with a high school diploma or above, and holding an ordinary foreign passport as a non-Chinese citizen. Required degree: Undergraduate applicants must hold a high school graduation certificate and transcripts, and must sit the China Scholastic Competency Assessment (CSCA) organised by the China Scholarship Council: Professional Chinese is compulsory (with the appropriate humanities or science subject according to the programme type; Chinese Language applicants may be exempt with a valid HSK Level 4 certificate), Mathematics is compulsory, and science and engineering applicants must additionally take at least one of Physics or Chemistry. Financial guarantee: Applicants must submit an International Student Financial Support Guarantee Statement (经济担保证明), which the guide states is submitted after admission. The English CSCA table additionally names agriculture and medicine; confirm the subject list for the intended programme.
