Anhui Medical University's CSC agency number is 10366, stated in its own 2026/2027 High-level Postgraduate Program admissions guide; the program category for the Chinese Government Scholarship High-level Postgraduate Program at AHMU is Type B.

Intake

Scholarship

The High-level Postgraduate Program is the Chinese Government Scholarship and is a self-enrolment program of the Chinese host university; in principle no Chinese language tutoring is provided, and the scholarship duration matches the basic length of schooling at three years for master's candidates and three years for doctoral candidates.

Language requirement

Master’s applicants need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and excellent academic performance, and are generally no older than 35; doctoral applicants need a master’s degree or equivalent and are generally no older than 40. Language requirement

Applicants for English-taught programs need TOEFL 80 or IELTS 6.0, or evidence that their previous degree was taught in English; native English speakers are exempt.

Physical examination

The 2026/2027 package includes the CSC form, passport valid beyond September 2026, notarised highest qualification, transcripts, university pre-admission notice, a personal statement/research plan of 1000字以上 as printed in the Chinese notice, two professor/associate-professor references, medical form and police certificate. Doctoral plans need the Chinese supervisor’s signature. The medical examination is valid for six months; police proof is normally issued within six months. Programmes

The 2026 undergraduate guide for international students gives an application period of November 20, 2025 to July 10, 2026 for the English-taught Clinical Medicine, Pharmacy and BDS bachelor's programs, with enrolment in September 2026.

Entry requirements

International undergraduate applicants must sit the China Scholastic Competency Assessment (CSCA) organised by the China Scholarship Council of the Ministry of Education, with Mathematics and Chemistry test subjects.

Language requirement

The 2026 English-taught undergraduate programmes require a high-school qualification and age 18–28. English evidence may be TOEFL 80, IELTS 6.0 or proof of previous English-medium study; native English speakers are exempt. Tuition

Published tuition for the 2026 international undergraduate intake is CNY 31,200 per year for the six-year Clinical Medicine program and CNY 21,000 per year for Pharmacy and CNY 31,000 per year (tentative) for BDS, with accommodation of CNY 4,000 per year.

Scholarship

AHMU publishes three scholarship schemes for international students: the Chinese Government Scholarship, the Anhui Provincial Government Scholarship, and The Scholarship of ASEAN.

Tuition

The 2026 undergraduate brochure’s table lists CNY 20,000 for the Anhui Provincial Government Scholarship without specifying its payment frequency. Scholarship

A student may receive the grant for only one Chinese Government Scholarship program at most, and scholarship winners may not change their admission institution after coming to China.

Intake

Enrolment registration for the 2026/2027 intake is in early September 2026, by the date on the Admission Letter; late registration must be requested from the International College in advance and may not exceed two weeks, otherwise the place is treated as voluntarily given up except in cases of force majeure.
