Every SWUPL 费用 (fees) section read lists only tuition and accommodation: the 2026 international undergraduate prospectus gives 学费：20000元人民币/年 (undergraduate tuition CNY 20,000/year) and 住宿费：四人间，2000元人民币/人/年 (four-person room CNY 2,000/person/year) and nothing else; the 2026 international postgraduate prospectus gives doctoral tuition of CNY 32,000/year and master's tuition of CNY 25,000/year with single, double and four-person room rates; the Chinese language programme gives tuition of CNY 6,000/semester or CNY 12,000/year plus accommodation of CNY 1,000/semester or CNY 2,000/year; and the English-language 2026 SWUPL undergraduate and postgraduate pages carry the same tuition and accommodation tables. SWUPL's stated application procedure has no payment step — it runs register, upload, submit, check status, interview notice, interview, result, confirm acceptance, then the admission letter and JW202/JW201 form — and the university says original documents are brought for verification at registration. Because these amounts are annual or per-semester tuition and the university publishes no application charge, the status is recorded as unknown rather than confirmed-free; the figures above are tuition and must never be published as an application fee.
