Application dates, fees and sources

Tianjin University of Finance and Economics (天津财经大学) scopes its windows by programme level in dated notices published by its International Education College (国际教育学院) on inter.tjufe.edu.cn. For the 2026 intake the Chinese Government Scholarship High Level Postgraduate Programme (Type B), 中国政府奖学金“高水平研究生”项目招生简章 天津财经大学(2026年), published 4 November 2025, ran from 1 November 2025; its Chinese guide gives 20 February 2026 while the same-day English guide gives 15 February 2026. Both dates are now past; use 15 February as the conservative operational cutoff and disclose this university-source conflict. The programme was for master's and doctoral applicants, with tuition, living allowance (master's CNY 3,000/month; doctoral CNY 3,500/month), on-campus dormitory and comprehensive medical insurance, taught in Chinese, and states 天津财经大学机构代码:10070,奖学金项目种类为B with results notified around late July. The Chinese Government Scholarship Bilateral Programme (Type A), 天津财经大学中国政府奖学金国别双边项目(A类)招生简章(2026年), the most recent admission notice, published 27 March 2026, is filed through the applicant's home-country dispatching authority rather than the university and states the window is generally from autumn each year to around March of the following year, with the exact closing date set by each country; applicants first obtain a pre-admission letter through the TUFE system and then file on the CSC portal under Type A with TUFE as first choice. The self-funded degree routes are filed on the TUFE International Student Service System: the master's brochure and the doctoral brochure (天津财经大学国际学生硕士研究生招生简章 and 博士研究生招生简章, both published 23 October 2025) state the portal closes on 30 May, and the bachelor's brochure (天津财经大学国际学生本科生招生简章, 23 October 2025) states 15 June, while the Chinese language programme brochure (天津财经大学国际学生汉语进修生招生简章, 23 October 2025) states the spring-semester portal closes on 15 December of the preceding year and the autumn-semester portal on 15 June of the current year. The 2026 degree windows have closed. The degree brochures dated 23 October 2025 link attachments explicitly labeled 2026, so their May 30 postgraduate and June 15 undergraduate cutoffs do not establish 2027 deadlines. The 2026 language brochure states a recurring preceding-year December 15/current-year June 15 pattern; confirm the spring 2027 language schedule before treating December 15, 2026 as a live deadline. The Tianjin Municipal Government Scholarship is not confirmed for the current cycle: the most recent published edition located is 2024年天津财经大学天津市外国留学生政府奖学金招生简章, published 28 June 2024, which closed 7 July 2024 with awards of CNY 34,800 (first prize) and CNY 20,000 (second prize) per person per year for undergraduates and CNY 47,800 and CNY 30,000 for master's students, and no 2025 or 2026 edition was found on the college site. No 2027/2028 degree-intake notice had been published as of 30 September 2026. The named university/college awards are not confirmed by a current call; do not infer availability from the historical notices.

Document checklist and upload instructions

Use the document list for your exact program. Prepare these common items, then add any scholarship-specific forms:

  • Identity: passport information page and photograph. Copy your name, birth date and passport number exactly into each application.
  • Education: diploma or official expected-graduation certificate, transcripts and any required degree authentication. Include the original language and certified translations where requested.
  • Language: the required HSK, IELTS, TOEFL or accepted alternative. A medium-of-instruction letter replaces a test only if the program allows it.
  • Academic materials: study plan or research proposal; graduate recommendation letters; supervisor or pre-admission letter when required. Some systems send referees a private submission link.
  • Additional requirements: CSCA results for applicable undergraduate routes; portfolio for relevant arts programs; medical form, police clearance, financial guarantee or guardian documents when listed. Check validity periods before arranging time-sensitive documents.

Scan each complete document clearly. Use the file type and size limit shown beside its upload field; combine multi-page documents only where the system permits. Open every uploaded file to check legibility, page order, signatures and stamps. Keep a copy of everything you submit.

A full Chinese Government Scholarship normally covers tuition, accommodation or a housing subsidy, medical insurance, and a monthly stipend. That does not prove Tianjin University of Finance and Economics will offer a full Type B award in 2027-2028: some routes are partial or unavailable, so confirm the current notice and your final award letter.

What is the application deadline for Tianjin University of Finance and Economics?

The latest official information checked September 30, 2026 says: Tianjin University of Finance and Economics (天津财经大学) scopes its windows by programme level in dated notices published by its International Education College (国际教育学院) on inter.tjufe.edu.cn. Check the current notice for your degree, route, and intake before applying.

What can I study at Tianjin University of Finance and Economics on a CSC scholarship?

Fields listed for Tianjin University of Finance and Economics in Tianjin include School of Business Administration, School of Economics, School of Accounting, School of Statistics. If its current CSC notice confirms your degree level and subject, use the official program catalogue to check the teaching language and identify a suitable supervisor.

Does Tianjin University of Finance and Economics charge an application fee?

A stated application fee could not be confirmed for every route, so this profile does not claim that applying is universally free. The university's Chinese Government Scholarship Bilateral Programme (Type A) notice, 天津财经大学中国政府奖学金国别双边项目(A类)招生简章(2026年), published 27 March 2026, states at section 八(申请流程)item 1: 申请人在天津财经大学来华留学申请系统(https://tufe.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx)提交申请(无须支付申请费)— applicants submit through the university's own system with no application fee payable. That affirmative statement is scoped to the Type A pre-admission route. The university's four self-funded programme brochures (bachelor's, master's, doctoral and Chinese-language, all published 23 October 2025) publish a 费用 (costs) section that gives only tuition and accommodation — 16,600 CNY per academic year for non-art bachelor's majors and 20,000 for art majors, 26,000 for master's, 30,000 for doctoral and 7,000 CNY per semester for Chinese-language study, each stated to include insurance, with accommodation at 24 or 36 CNY per day on annual settlement — and state no application-stage charge. Because a page that omits a fee must never be read as a waiver, and because the affirmative statement covers one route rather than the institution, the institution-wide position is recorded as unknown rather than confirmed-free. No tuition figure is recorded as an application fee.
