The current 2027 language-student notice now prints explicit application opening dates, independently read October 17, 2026. Applicants are non-Chinese high-school graduates or equivalent, generally aged 18–45; under-18 applicants supply guardian evidence. Passport validity must extend beyond February 28, 2028. Submit photo, passport, China visa/residence page if applicable, diploma/expected-graduation proof, complete transcripts, physical exam and no-criminal-record evidence valid six months, no-drug-history declaration, mental-health questionnaire, bank evidence above CNY 30,000 and prior school conduct evidence if applicable. Apply at admission.zjnu.edu.cn. After review, pay the non-refundable CNY 400 registration/application fee within the school’s specified period; the notice excepts CSC/ICLTS pre-admitted students from this fee-payment step. Tuition is CNY 14,000/academic year; double-room housing CNY 450–600/person/month or four-person CNY 300; insurance CNY 1,000/year. First-year students generally live on campus. The notice names CSC Type A and ICLTS but refers applicants to their separate award rules; no general language-admission deadline is transferred to a scholarship. The same official Fall 2027 timetable that opens the life and physical sciences round keeps a later published cutoff for this engineering and technology group: October 10th, 2026, 10 am to November 9th, 2026, 10 am. The two cutoffs must not be merged. No second-round date is published: every programme's second round is printed as "To be announced". Fees, eligibility and the application-fee waiver are as published on the same page. The application fee is waived for this year's applicants; doctoral tuition is CNY 40,000 per year for Westlake University programmes or CNY 37,000 per year for joint university programmes, with a full or partial tuition waiver; a single room is CNY 1,800 or 2,200 per year; insurance is CNY 800 per year; and fellowships and scholarships total more than CNY 85,000 per year before tax.
