Intake

Zhejiang Chinese Medical University publishes two recurring intake cut-offs in its 2026 International Admission Brochure: September Intake on 15 June and March Intake on 15 January.

Physical examination

Undergraduate applicants must supply an application form, a passport scan with at least six months validity from submission, a recent 2-inch white-background colour photo, a notarised high school diploma in Chinese or English, high school transcripts, a physical examination report issued within the last six months, a police clearance certificate issued within the last six months, proof of study or employment if already in China, and a self-introduction video.

Physical examination

Postgraduate applicants must supply an application form, a passport scan with at least six months validity, a photo, the highest diploma or degree certificate, transcripts for the bachelor's degree (master's applicants) or master's degree (doctoral applicants), two recommendation letters in Chinese or English from full or associate professors, a personal statement of at least 1,000 words covering education, work experience, reasons for applying and a study plan, an HSK certificate where the programme requires Chinese proficiency, any published papers or academic achievements, a physical examination report and a police clearance certificate issued within the last six months.

Tuition

Published tuition for 2026 is CNY 25,000 per year for Fuchun-campus bachelor programmes, CNY 10,000 in Year 1 rising to CNY 20,000 from Year 2 for Nursing and Pharmacy, and CNY 9,500 in Year 1 rising to CNY 19,000 for Audiology.

Tuition

Published postgraduate tuition is CNY 32,000 per year for Chinese-taught master's, CNY 42,000 per year for English-taught master's, CNY 42,000 per year for Chinese-taught doctoral and CNY 52,000 per year for English-taught doctoral programmes. The Audiology master's is quoted at CNY 32,000 or USD 4,600 per year.

Intake

Chinese language students pay CNY 8,500 per semester or CNY 17,000 per year.

Accommodation

Dormitory fees are CNY 5,400 per bed per year in a two-sharing room and CNY 2,700 per bed per year in a four-sharing room at the Fuchun campus, and between CNY 2,250 and CNY 9,000 per bed per year in Wenyuan Building 12 and Building 9 depending on room occupancy.

Scholarship

The 2026 fee table states that scholarship policy is set out in the Measures for Evaluation and Administration of International Student Scholarships of ZCMU, and the university publishes a Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship worth CNY 20,000-30,000 per year and a ZCMU merit-based scholarship worth CNY 2,000-20,000 per year.

Application deadline

The Hui'er Scholarship Program for International Postgraduates provides a total of CNY 125,000 per candidate across three years, paid as 40% in the first year, 30% in the second year and 30% in the third year, with five places a year and an application deadline of 15 June.

Intake

The scholarship application notice for the 2025-2026 academic year, published 2026-09-08, names four categories: the Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship for International Students, the International Students Scholarship of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University (including an Academic Scholarship and a Freshman Scholarship), the Special Scholarship for International Students of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University, and the Talent-based Single-Item Scholarship awarded under five headings (Volunteer Service, Academic and Competition, Cultural Activities, Sports Activities and Social Work), of which an applicant may hold at most two.

Tuition

Scholarship applicants must be enrolled full-time international students of the International Education College who did not take suspension, retention or extension in the previous academic year, must not have defaulted on tuition or breached discipline, and must not hold any other scholarship from another organisation or from the Chinese government.

Age requirement

Age limits for ZCMU scholarships are under 30 for undergraduate applicants, under 35 for master's applicants and under 40 for doctoral applicants, with a possible five-year extension for the Special Scholarship.

Scholarship

The Provincial Government Scholarship requires an academic ranking in the top 30% of the applicant's level and major with no failing grades, and the University Academic Scholarship requires a ranking in the top 50% with no failing grades.

CSC agency number

The Chinese Government Scholarship does not appear in ZCMU's own admission brochure, its scholarship notice or its fee standard, and Zhejiang Chinese Medical University is not listed among the Chinese Government Scholarship host institutions on the China Scholarship Council's official Study in China portal, so no CSC agency number is published for it.

Dormitory fees are CNY 5,400 per bed per year in a two-sharing room and CNY 2,700 in a four-sharing room at Fuchun; Wenyuan Building 12 and Building 9 range from CNY 2,250 to CNY 9,000 per bed per year depending on occupancy. The fee table is an image file rather than text, so the figures were read by OCR at 300 dpi.
