Application dates, fees and sources

China Jiliang University (中国计量大学, CJLU) publishes a single, explicitly dated application deadline for its 2026 autumn international intake, and the previously extracted record is the same across all four 2026 prospectuses hosted on its School of International Education site. The Chinese-language 2026年国际学生本科生招生简章 and 2026年国际学生研究生招生简章 and their English counterparts, Prospectus on International Admission for Bachelor's Programs of China Jiliang University 2026 and Prospectus on International Admission for Master's Programs of China Jiliang University 2026, each carry section 七、申请截止及报到注册时间 / VII. Application Deadline and Registration Date reading 申请截止时间:2026 年 6 月 30 日(将根据实际申请量调整) / "Application Deadline: June 30, 2026 (to be adjusted on the basis of application reality)" and 注册报到时间:2026 年 9 月(具体以录取通知书为准) / "Registration Date: September 2026 (to be specified in the admission letter)". The 2026/2027 autumn intake closed on 30 June 2026, with registration in September 2026. The university runs this intake directly, as the bachelor's prospectus states 国际学生本科招生…will be launched by CJLU. The prospectuses set no separate earlier cut-off for the presidential scholarship (master's) or the freshmen scholarship (bachelor's and master's): those awards are assessed from the same application submitted through the same portal, and no scholarship-specific closing date appears in the four prior extractions. On October 8, 2026, the official index still listed only the four 2026 editions and no 2027 prospectus. A direct recheck of an English bachelor's attachment reached the university verification-code page; the submitted code was rejected, so the four brochure bodies could not be reread in this check. The detailed 2026 figures below therefore remain based on the earlier official-document review, not a fresh October 8 read. One separate, dated 2026 non-degree window is also closed: the Notice on Holding the Third Chinese Language and Culture Summer Camp of China Jiliang University, issued 7 May 2026, ran a four-week project 4-31 July 2026 and a two-week project 4-17 July 2026 with an application deadline of 15 May 2026. Neither route is a 2027 degree-admission window.

For China Jiliang University, refer to the current official admissions notice for opening and closing dates by program and intake. Dates from a previous intake should not be used as the next intake's deadline. Directory-wide opening checks were last completed October 9, 2026.

Refer to the university's current admissions notice for the application fee, any available exemptions and payment instructions.

Historical 2026 CJLU freshmen awards and master’s presidential scholarship

The 2026 degree brochures describe CJLU’s freshmen awards for bachelor’s and master’s applicants and a presidential scholarship for master’s applicants. Submit through CJLU’s application system with the degree checklist; presidential applicants add the award documents below. No separate scholarship portal, opening date or scholarship-specific closing date is printed. The brochures’ adjustable June 30, 2026 general cutoff is historical and does not prove current award availability. Receiving admission does not itself establish a scholarship offer. Confirm the award decision and any next-cycle procedure with admission_international@cjlu.edu.cn.

Master’s presidential award: coverage and basic conditions

The 2026 master’s award covers tuition, on-campus accommodation excluding water/electricity, CNY 3,000 per month and medical insurance. Master’s presidential award: additional uploads

In the CJLU application system, 2026 master’s presidential applicants add a Chinese/English study or research plan covering study/work history, research achievements, study plans and post-graduation development; references from two professors/associate professors; academic papers or achievements if available; and a CJLU master’s supervisor acceptance/approval letter if available. The brochure does not make the last two mandatory for every applicant.

Freshmen Class A and Class B: language, grades and references

For 2026 Class A, applicants from non-English-speaking countries provide IELTS at least 6, TOEFL iBT at least 70, HSK 5, specified English-speaking-country study or English instruction, or SIE-recognised excellent English. Average grades must be B or higher, with at least two teacher references. Class B lists IELTS at least 5.5, TOEFL iBT at least 55, HSK 4, specified study/instruction or SIE-assessed English; grades must be C or higher, with at least one reference. For study/instruction alternatives, Chinese says at least two years for A and one for B; English says more than two/one. Master’s Class B says excellent English in English versus good English in Chinese. Bachelor’s grades/references concern high school or above; master’s concern undergraduate study or above. Confirm boundary eligibility; award thresholds differ from general admission.

Freshmen Class C and study-in-China attendance rules

The historical Class C award covers half of the first semester’s tuition. Its language alternative follows Class B and its academic alternative is an average grade of C or above. The Chinese bachelor’s text allows one of those two conditions where both are not met; the English bachelor’s text says condition a or b, so confirm interpretation. Master’s text permits a or b. For bachelor’s transfers from other Chinese institutions, or CJLU programme transfers, attendance thresholds are 90% for A, 85% for B and 80% for C. Master’s applicants who previously or currently study in China follow the same respective thresholds. Do not apply these historical awards without confirming the current notice.

nondegree summer camp only

The closed 2026 camp accepted applications until May 15 for July 4–17 or July 4–31 study, subject to small flight-related date changes. Adults of non-Chinese nationality interested in Chinese culture needed suitable visa eligibility, good health and no disciplinary or illegal violations. Contact Ms Wang on 0571-87676135 and sign the notice’s safety acknowledgement (Appendix 3). The two-week CNY 6,700 or four-week CNY 12,900 per-person package covered classes, materials, accommodation, group airport transfers in Hangzhou and group activities. Visa charges, insurance, meals, personal expenses, international flights and individual transport were excluded. The notice does not establish a degree application fee or a 2027 camp window.

Nationality conditions in the historical 2026 prospectuses

The 2026 brochures address non-Chinese passport holders. For emigrants from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan, Chinese says foreign citizenship before April 30, 2022 and at least two years abroad between April 30, 2022 and April 30, 2026; English says no later than April 30 and more than two years. Chinese counts nine months abroad as a year; English says more than nine months. Foreign-born applicants with one or two Chinese parents must document that residence period. English additionally requires those Chinese parents to have held permanent foreign residence before birth, which the Chinese passage does not expressly state. Confirm borderline nationality/residence evidence with CJLU; do not roll these historical dates forward.

Twelve other clearly priced majors cost CNY 18,000. Quality Management Engineering is misprinted ‘1,5000’ in both editions, so its intended fee needs confirmation. Document checklist and upload instructions

Use the document list for your exact program. Prepare these common items, then add any scholarship-specific forms:

  • Identity: passport information page and photograph. Copy your name, birth date and passport number exactly into each application.
  • Education: diploma or official expected-graduation certificate, transcripts and any required degree authentication. Include the original language and certified translations where requested.
  • Language: the required HSK, IELTS, TOEFL or accepted alternative. A medium-of-instruction letter replaces a test only if the program allows it.
  • Academic materials: study plan or research proposal; graduate recommendation letters; supervisor or pre-admission letter when required. Some systems send referees a private submission link.
  • Additional requirements: CSCA results for applicable undergraduate routes; portfolio for relevant arts programs; medical form, police clearance, financial guarantee or guardian documents when listed. Check validity periods before arranging time-sensitive documents.

Scan each complete document clearly. Use the file type and size limit shown beside its upload field; combine multi-page documents only where the system permits. Open every uploaded file to check legibility, page order, signatures and stamps. Keep a copy of everything you submit.

How to fill the university application

Follow the submission method in your programme's notice. The steps below apply when it requires an online form; email and paper applications follow their separate source-linked instructions above.

  1. Open the university link for your degree level. On an admissions website, find the international-student application entry, then register or sign in. Button names vary between systems.
  2. Choose the correct entry year, degree, teaching language and program. Read its requirements before selecting your funding option.
  3. Enter personal information as it appears in your passport. List education and employment dates accurately, and enter a reliable email address.
  4. Complete the study plan and referee fields. Upload each document to its matching slot; enter a CSC application number only if your route asks for one.
  5. Preview the whole application. Follow the fee instructions, submit the form and check that the system acknowledges submission. Saving a draft does not submit it.

Costs and scholarship coverage

Application fees are separate from tuition and everyday expenses. Use the same degree, program and accommodation type when comparing universities.

Fee source notes: China Jiliang University's School of International Education lists the 2026 bachelor's and master's prospectuses on its official Brochure page. The current official prospectuses' application procedures and fee tables are the relevant evidence; the profile's prior source review recorded tuition and accommodation but no application or registration charge and no payment step during online application. The brochure landing page itself does not expose a charge amount, and its linked files could not be independently reopened in this pass because the download endpoint presented a verification-code challenge. Accordingly, retain unknown rather than infer that application is free or assert a current amount. The 2026 summer-camp program charge (CNY 12,900 for four weeks or CNY 6,700 for two weeks) is a non-degree program fee, not an application fee. See the recorded official notices and any source qualifications below.

Application deadline
All four 2026 degree prospectuses give June 30, 2026, subject to adjustment according to applications, and September 2026 registration as specified in the admission letter. They give no opening date or separately dated scholarship cutoff. These historical dates have passed; confirm any extension separately.
Bachelor’s tuition and teaching language
The 2026 table lists 17 majors. International Economics and Trade, Business Administration and TCSOL cost CNY 15,000 per academic year; the Chinese Standardization Engineering row also gives CNY 15,000, while its English row prints ‘1,5000’. International Chinese Education is Chinese-taught; the other eight list English and Chinese.
Freshmen scholarship coverage
The 2026 bachelor’s and master’s brochures describe three freshmen awards: Class A covers the first academic year’s tuition, Class B the first semester’s tuition, and Class C half of the first semester’s tuition. These are tuition awards with language, academic and, where applicable, attendance conditions; they do not establish 2027 availability.
Master’s presidential scholarship
The 2026 master’s award covers tuition, on-campus accommodation excluding water/electricity, CNY 3,000 per month and medical insurance. CNY 700 monthly off-campus accommodation support applies when university dormitory shortage requires off-campus housing. Applicants must meet admission/language rules, follow Chinese and university rules, have no bad record and hold no other scholarship concurrently.
Accommodation
The 2026 bachelor’s and master’s brochures list triple rooms at CNY 3,000 and quadruple rooms at CNY 2,800 per person per bed per academic year. The master’s presidential award has separate housing coverage and conditions.
Qualification and document validity
Bachelor’s applicants submit high-school graduation proof/transcripts; master’s applicants submit bachelor’s degree proof/transcripts. Add Chinese or English translations if originals are in neither language. Both lists require a medical report within six months, a police certificate within three months or the issuing authority’s stated validity, and a passport expiring after September 1, 2027.
Language and media uploads
For the 2026 degree checklist, Chinese-taught applicants provide valid HSK 4 or higher and English-taught applicants provide English proficiency evidence; no numeric general English admission threshold is stated. Financial guarantee and transfer documents
The 2026 lists require an anti-drug statement and financial guarantee letter, without specifying a minimum bank balance. Applicants previously/currently studying in China submit relevant study proof, transcripts, conduct/attendance records, visa or residence-permit page and previous/current tutor contact details; master’s applicants add a transfer letter when required. SIE may request other programme documents.
Presidential award uploads
In the CJLU application system, 2026 master’s presidential applicants add a Chinese/English study or research plan covering study/work history, research achievements, study plans and post-graduation development; references from two professors/associate professors; academic papers or achievements if available; and a CJLU master’s supervisor acceptance/approval letter if available. The brochure does not make the last two mandatory for every applicant.
Application fee
The four full 2026 prospectuses do not specify an application charge, exemption, payment stage or refund rule. Fee status remains unknown: this is not evidence of free application or a general prohibition on payment. Confirm any current charge in the chosen programme’s instructions.
Tuition table errors
The English 2026 undergraduate table prints ‘1,5000’ for Standardization Engineering and Quality Management Engineering. The Chinese table gives Standardization Engineering as CNY 15,000 but repeats ‘1,5000’ for Quality Management Engineering. The intended quality-management figure must not be normalised without university confirmation.

Check the current notice for your degree, route, and intake before applying.

Does China Jiliang University charge an application fee?

China Jiliang University's School of International Education lists the 2026 bachelor's and master's prospectuses on its official Brochure page.
