Programme details

Non-degree Chinese language training at the School of International Education, February 2027 entry; separate from the university's degree and foundation windows. The official notice prints 春季学期:2026年9月22日 — 2026年12月31日,2027年2月入学, so both the opening and closing days are stated. Three levels (elementary, intermediate, advanced), about 15 students per class, 4 class hours a day and 20 a week; one semester as standard, extendable to a maximum of four. Published costs: application fee CNY 500 (charged after admission together with tuition), tuition CNY 7,000 per semester or CNY 14,000 per academic year, accident and hospitalisation insurance CNY 400 per person per semester, and accommodation CNY 15–60 per person per day by campus and room type. The notice names the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship as a possible route for high-performing Chinese-language students and states that award covers tuition, living allowance, accommodation and medical insurance, but publishes no award amount, quota or scholarship deadline; those remain unknown.

Funding: See the programme notice

Deadline: January 10, 2027

High-school graduates aged 18–24; notice specifies guardian conditions for applicants under 18. HSK 4 or above. Foundation route only.

Programme details

One-semester foundation programme; February 2027 entry. The official notice gives the Spring application period and February entry. This is a pre-university route, not degree admission. It states high-school completion, age 18–24 (with a guardianship condition for younger applicants), HSK 4+, a CNY 500 registration fee, CNY 16,900 tuition, and CNY 400 insurance per semester. The same notice prints this route’s own accommodation band of CNY 15 to 60 per person per day, varying by campus and room type, and requires students who live off campus to register at the local police station within 24 hours. It also publishes this route’s refund rule: prepaid tuition is refunded only if the applicant confirms withdrawal in writing within 60 days of successful payment, or if a visa application fails for non-personal reasons with the embassy or consulate’s official refusal proof and a written refund request; it is not refunded after 60 days, on non-arrival after admission, on a personal-reason visa failure, or on withdrawal more than two weeks after enrolment, and the registration fee is never refunded. The notice describes students as studying 通过自费或中国政府奖学金资助形式 (self-funded or CSC-funded) and TJU as an MOE-designated CSC pre-university pilot, but it publishes no separate scholarship cutoff, so 10 January 2027 is this programme’s application cutoff and not a CSC award deadline. Check the university’s own CSC notice for that route.
