Published dates and unconfirmed windows

Application timing and source scope

Fudan University has published no 2027 university-wide intake prospectus, and the 2026 intake has closed, when this was checked on 1 October 2026 against the International Students Office 本科项目, 研究生项目 and 通知公告 indexes. The most recent published university-wide windows are the 2026 cycle: Chinese-taught undergraduate applications ran in two stages, 1-15 January 2026 and 23 February to 6 March 2026; Chinese-taught and English-taught postgraduate applications ran from 13 October 2025 to 12 December 2025 and again from 1 March 2026 to 31 March 2026, with the first stage also covering the Chinese Government Scholarship High-Level Graduate and Silk Road programmes and the Shanghai Government Scholarship; and the non-degree Chinese language programme's autumn 2026 intake closed on 12 June 2026. All of those have closed. A 2027 school-level degree window is also published: the School of Management's notice of 4 September 2026 states that the 2027 intake for its Master of Finance (International Finance) and Master of AI for Business programmes runs from September 2026 to April 2027, so the window is open but no exact closing day is published. Fudan's CSC institution code for the Type B university programme is 10246, printed in its own 2026 postgraduate prospectus. The published application fee is CNY 800 for degree programmes and CNY 400 for non-degree programmes, and it is separate from the CNY 800 dormitory deposit. Medical insurance is CNY 400 per six months or CNY 800 per year, mandatory for students enrolled for a semester or longer. The separate 2026 International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship language-study brochure, published March 3, 2026, explicitly includes March 2027 one-semester entry. Applications run March 1–October 31, 2026 through chinese.cn with Fudan as first choice; HSK 3 of at least 180 and HSKK results are required. This does not establish autumn 2027 degree scholarship dates.

Document checklist and upload instructions

Use the document list for your exact program. Prepare these common items, then add any scholarship-specific forms:

  • Identity: passport information page and photograph. Copy your name, birth date and passport number exactly into each application.
  • Education: diploma or official expected-graduation certificate, transcripts and any required degree authentication. Include the original language and certified translations where requested.
  • Language: the required HSK, IELTS, TOEFL or accepted alternative. A medium-of-instruction letter replaces a test only if the program allows it.
  • Academic materials: study plan or research proposal; graduate recommendation letters; supervisor or pre-admission letter when required. Some systems send referees a private submission link.
  • Additional requirements: CSCA results for applicable undergraduate routes; portfolio for relevant arts programs; medical form, police clearance, financial guarantee or guardian documents when listed. Check validity periods before arranging time-sensitive documents.

Scan each complete document clearly. Use the file type and size limit shown beside its upload field; combine multi-page documents only where the system permits. Open every uploaded file to check legibility, page order, signatures and stamps. Keep a copy of everything you submit.

Application templates
How to fill the university application

Follow the submission method in your programme's notice. The steps below apply when it requires an online form; email and paper applications follow their separate source-linked instructions above.

  1. Open the university link for your degree level. On an admissions website, find the international-student application entry, then register or sign in. Button names vary between systems.
  2. Choose the correct entry year, degree, teaching language and program. Read its requirements before selecting your funding option.
  3. Enter personal information as it appears in your passport. List education and employment dates accurately, and enter a reliable email address.
  4. Complete the study plan and referee fields. Upload each document to its matching slot; enter a CSC application number only if your route asks for one.
  5. Preview the whole application. Follow the fee instructions, submit the form and check that the system acknowledges submission. Saving a draft does not submit it.
How to fill the CSC application
  1. Open the CSC portal below and register or sign in. Complete your personal details before starting the scholarship application.
  2. Select the application category specified in the current scholarship call. Type A commonly uses a dispatching authority and Type B a university; confirm the exact category and agency number in that route's current notice and check the receiving institution displayed by the system.
  3. Select the degree category, teaching language, major and study period specified by the eligible program. Keep these consistent with your university application.
  4. Upload the requested documents, review all fields and submit. Download the completed application form; sign and upload it to the university or dispatching-authority system when instructed.
  5. Save your application number and a copy of the submitted form. If you withdraw to edit, submit again before the deadline and tell the receiving office if it already began reviewing your application.

University agency number on record: 10246. For Type B, match it to Fudan University in CSC. Type A uses your dispatching authority's number instead.
