Application fee

CNY 500 The 2026 fall degree notice’s tuition appendix lists a one-time CNY 500 application fee for new students, including the MBA tracks. It is non-refundable once paid; the notice does not state a separate application-submission payment stage. The same appendix lists MBA tuition of CNY 54,000/year for the two-year full-time track and CNY 36,000/year for the three-year part-time track. Its approved pre-semester tuition withdrawal rule permits an 80% tuition refund; illegal conduct prevents refunds. Older non-degree programme pages record registration fees of CNY 300–500, including CNY 300 for the four-week intensive course. Those figures do not establish the charge for a different route. The 2024 prospectus explicitly lists application-fee exemptions for CSC and International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship recipients; the reviewed 2026 ICLTS notices do not restate an application-fee rule. Confirm current award-specific payment instructions. Source: https://iie.gdufs.edu.cn/info/1099/5488.htm

CSC agency number
CSC agency number (机构代码) 11910 is published by GDUFS on page 7 of its official 广东外语外贸大学来华留学生学历生招生简章(2024版) prospectus PDF, in the row for 中国政府奖学金 自主招生项目(B类), alongside the application window December to March. The page is an image PDF with zero extractable text, so the figure was read by rendering page 7 at 400 dpi, OCR-ing it, and visually confirming the cropped cell; three independent OCR passes and the visual check all returned 11910.
Scholarship
GDUFS is confirmed as a Chinese Government Scholarship host institution, listed as entry 74 (广东省 / Guangdong, 广东外语外贸大学 / Guangdong University of Foreign Studies) in the official CSC host-institution list PDF published at campuschina.org on 14 January 2026. That list carries no agency numbers.
Scholarship
The university's own prospectus states it is one of the first batch of 38 Chinese Ministry of Education 来华留学生示范基地 (demonstration bases for international students) and that its international student education began in 1986. It lists four scholarships: Chinese Government Scholarship, International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship, Guangdong Province Government International Student Scholarship, and GDUFS International Student Scholarship.

The 2026 fall degree notice’s Appendix 1 lists a one-time CNY 500 application fee for new students, non-refundable after payment. Older language-training pages record CNY 300–500, and CNY 300 for four-week intensive study. The 2024 prospectus lists CSC/ICLTS application-fee exemptions; the separate 2026 ICLTS rules do not restate a fee rule.

The preceding Spring 2026 intake ran 30 September 2025 to 26 December 2025. The 2026 GDUFS International Student Scholarship and the 2026 Guangdong Province Government International Student Scholarship both closed on 5 July 2026, per notices published 20 and 21 April 2026. The March–June 2026 window above is general degree-student registration. A separate 2026 International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship route accepts one-semester applicants entering March 2027; its Beijing-time application deadline is 31 October 2026. The rule page was published 4 March 2026 and says applications are accepted 'from now'; it does not state a separate calendar opening date. This five-month award is for the scholarship's specified language-related routes and has its own HSK 3/HSKK and interview conditions; it is not the Fall 2026 degree intake. No 2027/2028 full-degree or CSC Type B deadline was found in the current official admissions listing.

Read the university's procedure
  1. 1

    Choose your program and intake

  3. 3

    Complete the university application

Use the official application link and complete the fields required for your route. Submit documents only through the channel and at the stage stated in the current notice. Pay a charge only when instructed; retain any submission confirmation the system provides.

  4. 4

    Review your offer and costs

Document checklist and upload instructions

Use the document list for your exact program. Prepare these common items, then add any scholarship-specific forms:

  • Identity: passport information page and photograph. Copy your name, birth date and passport number exactly into each application.
  • Education: diploma or official expected-graduation certificate, transcripts and any required degree authentication. Include the original language and certified translations where requested.
  • Language: the required HSK, IELTS, TOEFL or accepted alternative. A medium-of-instruction letter replaces a test only if the program allows it.
  • Academic materials: study plan or research proposal; graduate recommendation letters; supervisor or pre-admission letter when required. Some systems send referees a private submission link.
  • Additional requirements: CSCA results for applicable undergraduate routes; portfolio for relevant arts programs; medical form, police clearance, financial guarantee or guardian documents when listed. Check validity periods before arranging time-sensitive documents.

Scan each complete document clearly. Use the file type and size limit shown beside its upload field; combine multi-page documents only where the system permits. Open every uploaded file to check legibility, page order, signatures and stamps. Keep a copy of everything you submit.

Application templates
How to fill the university application

Follow the submission method in your programme's notice. The steps below apply when it requires an online form; email and paper applications follow their separate source-linked instructions above.

  1. Open the university link for your degree level. On an admissions website, find the international-student application entry, then register or sign in. Button names vary between systems.
  2. Choose the correct entry year, degree, teaching language and program. Read its requirements before selecting your funding option.
  3. Enter personal information as it appears in your passport. List education and employment dates accurately, and enter a reliable email address.
  4. Complete the study plan and referee fields. Upload each document to its matching slot; enter a CSC application number only if your route asks for one.
  5. Preview the whole application. Follow the fee instructions, submit the form and check that the system acknowledges submission. Saving a draft does not submit it.
How to fill the CSC application
  1. Open the CSC portal below and register or sign in. Complete your personal details before starting the scholarship application.
  2. Select the application category specified in the current scholarship call. Type A commonly uses a dispatching authority and Type B a university; confirm the exact category and agency number in that route's current notice and check the receiving institution displayed by the system.
  3. Select the degree category, teaching language, major and study period specified by the eligible program. Keep these consistent with your university application.
  4. Upload the requested documents, review all fields and submit. Download the completed application form; sign and upload it to the university or dispatching-authority system when instructed.
  5. Save your application number and a copy of the submitted form. If you withdraw to edit, submit again before the deadline and tell the receiving office if it already began reviewing your application.

University agency number on record: 11910. For Type B, match it to Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in CSC. Type A uses your dispatching authority's number instead.
