The application-fee status has not been verified for the current route. The 2026 general prospectus does not specify an application-stage charge or confirm that applying is free. It requires new students to pay a CNY 400 报名费, translated as registration fee, when reporting to the university. That is an arrival-stage charge; refunds are unstated. Tuition, accommodation and insurance are separate costs. The 2026 MOE–Guangxi and provincial scholarship notices have their own award rules, and their omission of an application charge does not establish an exemption.

The January 29, 2026 general prospectus directs applicants to email materials to fie@gxtcmu.edu.cn but states no application deadline; the general route cannot be labelled open or closed from this source. The March 26, 2026 MOE–Guangxi ASEAN call required CSC Type B submission and then email materials to fie@gxtcmu.edu.cn before April 10, 2026; this historical cutoff has passed. The call's Chinese column gives agency 13643 while English gives 10600: obtain university confirmation before using either number. CSC final approval precedes admission/JW201 for that route. The March 19, 2026 Guangxi Government ASEAN call closed May 25, 2026 and used fiegxtcmu@126.com; school review and Guangxi education-department approval preceded admission/JW202 in July–August and early September 2026 enrolment. Both calls specify ASEAN-country eligibility. A separate enrolled-student faculty award review closed January 11, 2026 at 12:00 and is not an incoming application window. No separate 2027 intake schedule is confirmed by the notices reviewed here.

Submit CSC Type B before April 10, 2026, then download the form and email it with all materials to fie@gxtcmu.edu.cn; the subject is CSC + nationality + name. The Chinese agency number is 13643 while English prints 10600; confirm the correct number with the university. No paper post is required. Submit passport, notarized qualification, higher-education transcripts, language/CSCA evidence as applicable, study plan, medical and police evidence, plus applicable guardian/arts documents; graduates add two academic references. University review and interview precede recommendation to CSC, which makes the final decision. Results are expected by email in late July–mid-August; admission/JW201 are then mailed. The call does not specify an application charge or payment stage. This is historical 2026 award guidance, not a confirmed 2027 opening.

Medical-programme applicants generally need a converted 100-point average of at least 70. Annual review applies, and concurrent Chinese government/university awards are barred except one-off prizes. No application-fee exemption is stated.
