Application fee

CNY 400 (registration fee) A CNY 400 application fee is published by Lanzhou University of Technology. The official 收费标准 (Fee Schedule) page of the International Education College states plainly: 1.报名费(含入学考核费用,所有国际学生):400元/人 — 'Registration fee (including the entrance examination fee, for ALL international students): CNY 400 per person'. The English half of the same page repeats it as 'RegistrationFee (for all the international students, including entrance examination cost) 400Yuan/person.' The three programme pages restate it as 报名费:400元/人 under 收费标准, with the payment route given as the system-triggered notice and https://pay.lut.edu.cn/xysf/ptman/login.aspx, and the President Scholarship notice adds 无论是否录取,报名费概不退还 (the fee is non-refundable whether or not the applicant is admitted). The 中美学历生专项奖学金 notice states the school 仅收取400元报名费(入学报到后将退还)— only the CNY 400 registration fee, refundable after on-campus registration — for that particular programme. The fee is one-off and payable to the school's own payment portal. Deliberately NOT recorded in feeAmount are the tuition figures on the same page, which are annual and therefore tuition, not an application fee: undergraduate CNY 14,000–24,000/yr, master's CNY 18,000–29,000/yr, doctoral CNY 22,000–34,000/yr, Chinese-language CNY 3,000–10,000 depending on duration, accommodation CNY 600/person/month double or CNY 1,200/person/month single, and comprehensive medical insurance CNY 800/person/year.

Published dates and unconfirmed windows

Application timing and source scope

Lanzhou University of Technology (兰州理工大学) publishes its self-funded international application window as a standing annual rule, not as an intake-dated notice: the 本科项目 (Bachelor Programme), 硕士研究生项目 (Master's Programme) and 博士研究生项目 (Doctoral Programme) pages, all published 17 June 2025 on the International Education College site, each state 每年1月1日至6月15日 — applications open 1 January and close 15 June every year — filed through https://lut.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx. These are standing annual January 1–June 15 dates; no dated 2027 intake window or current opening is confirmed. The university's own 兰州理工大学校长奖学金 (LUT President Scholarship) runs on a wider window, 每年一月初至六月底 (early January to the end of June each year) per its 2024 notice, these are annual timing rules rather than confirmed 2027 dates; its own text adds 奖学金每年评审一次 (assessed once a year) and 第二学年起,奖学金资格和等级根据个人在校表现和成绩确定. The CSC programmes have separate, earlier windows: 中国政府奖学金—高水平研究生项目 (CSC High-Level Graduate Programme) states 每年十二月初至次年二月底 — early December to the end of the following February — this is a standing annual rule and does not confirm a dated 2027 call; 中国政府奖学金-丝绸之路项目 (CSC Silk Road Programme, undergraduates) states 每年十二月初至次年三月底 — early December to the end of the following March — this is also a standing annual rule, with no dated next opening confirmed; the older 中美学历生专项奖学金 notice (2019) gives the same programme family as 一般为1月初至4月初 (generally early January to early April). No dated 2026/2027 or 2027/2028 intake notice had been posted as of 14 September 2026: the 通知公告 board's newest recruitment item is 兰州理工大学国际教育学院全日制研究生预退学公告 (13 July 2026), and the newest scholarship-adjacent notices are the 2026 上海合作组织大学奖学金 (4 November 2025) and 2026年俄罗斯互换奖学金(中俄政府奖学金) (4 November 2025), both CSC-administered exchanges rather than the general international admission round. For the 国际中文教师奖学金 the school re-publishes the 中外语言交流合作中心 timetable — for September intake the student deadline is 15 May, for March intake 31 October, for July intake 15 April and for December intake 15 September — reproduced in the school's own notice. No Gansu provincial scholarship cut-off date is published by the school; the 甘肃省优秀来华留学国际文化交流奖学金 page describes the award and states only 个人申请,学校推荐,甘肃省国际文化交流协会审核.

Recorded CSC agency number; confirm it in the current CSC call: 10731

The notice requires registration in both campuschina.org (Type B, agency 10731) and LUT’s application system. It states an annual early-December to end-February period and a 2024 programme catalogue; do not convert this into a published 2027 deadline. Supply notarized prior degree/transcripts, passport, research plan, at least two professor/associate-professor recommendations, police clearance, medical form and valid HSK4 certificate. Supervisor acceptance and publications are listed only if available. Attend the interview or examination according to email instructions. The notice does not specify a payment stage or require obtaining pre-admission before either portal.

Read the university's procedure
  1. 1

    Choose your program and intake

Check Lanzhou University of Technology's current prospectus for your degree, teaching language, eligibility and deadline. Arrange supervisor contact or pre-admission first when the program requires it.

    Read official admission instructions
  2. 2

    Prepare your documents

Use the checklist below, then compare it with your program's required documents. Prepare any signed forms, translations and referee submissions before starting the final application.

  3. 3

Follow the portal order in the Type B notice

If it asks for the CSC form in the university system, finish CSC first and upload that form. If it asks for university admission or recommendation first, complete that stage before CSC. Where both systems are required, submit to both; use a CSC-only process only when the official notice explicitly specifies it.

    Read official admission instructions
  4. 4

    Complete the required application systems

Use the university and CSC instructions below in the order specified by your program. Keep names, degree, major and teaching language consistent across the forms. Check submission status in every required system.

  5. 5

Track decisions and respond to requests

Check your portal and email for missing-document requests, interviews and results. If a form is returned, correct it and resubmit. Keep admission and scholarship decisions separate; follow the final offer for acceptance, registration and original-document checks.

Document checklist and upload instructions

Use the document list for your exact program. Prepare these common items, then add any scholarship-specific forms:

  • Identity: passport information page and photograph. Copy your name, birth date and passport number exactly into each application.
  • Education: diploma or official expected-graduation certificate, transcripts and any required degree authentication. Include the original language and certified translations where requested.
  • Language: the required HSK, IELTS, TOEFL or accepted alternative. A medium-of-instruction letter replaces a test only if the program allows it.
  • Academic materials: study plan or research proposal; graduate recommendation letters; supervisor or pre-admission letter when required. Some systems send referees a private submission link.
  • Additional requirements: CSCA results for applicable undergraduate routes; portfolio for relevant arts programs; medical form, police clearance, financial guarantee or guardian documents when listed. Check validity periods before arranging time-sensitive documents.

Scan each complete document clearly. Use the file type and size limit shown beside its upload field; combine multi-page documents only where the system permits. Open every uploaded file to check legibility, page order, signatures and stamps. Keep a copy of everything you submit.

Application templates
How to fill the university application

Follow the submission method in your programme's notice. The steps below apply when it requires an online form; email and paper applications follow their separate source-linked instructions above.

  1. Open the university link for your degree level. On an admissions website, find the international-student application entry, then register or sign in. Button names vary between systems.
  2. Choose the correct entry year, degree, teaching language and program. Read its requirements before selecting your funding option.
  3. Enter personal information as it appears in your passport. List education and employment dates accurately, and enter a reliable email address.
  4. Complete the study plan and referee fields. Upload each document to its matching slot; enter a CSC application number only if your route asks for one.
  5. Preview the whole application. Follow the fee instructions, submit the form and check that the system acknowledges submission. Saving a draft does not submit it.
How to fill the CSC application
  1. Open the CSC portal below and register or sign in. Complete your personal details before starting the scholarship application.
  2. Select the application category specified in the current scholarship call. Type A commonly uses a dispatching authority and Type B a university; confirm the exact category and agency number in that route's current notice and check the receiving institution displayed by the system.
  3. Select the degree category, teaching language, major and study period specified by the eligible program. Keep these consistent with your university application.
  4. Upload the requested documents, review all fields and submit. Download the completed application form; sign and upload it to the university or dispatching-authority system when instructed.
  5. Save your application number and a copy of the submitted form. If you withdraw to edit, submit again before the deadline and tell the receiving office if it already began reviewing your application.

University agency number on record: 10731. For Type B, match it to Lanzhou University of Technology in CSC. Type A uses your dispatching authority's number instead.
