For 2026 master's programmes, the notice of 20 January 2026 states applications run from 26 January 2026 to 31 July 2026, and for 2026 doctoral programmes the counterpart notice of the same date applies the same window. A separate 2026 master's notice for the School of Public Health was published on 27 April 2026, and the School of Public Health doctoral notice likewise on 27 April 2026. 2026 English-medium MBBS

Submit the complete file online. University document review is followed by an emailed online-interview invitation. Passing applicants receive pre-admission, then pay the non-refundable CNY 13000 deposit within that letter's deadline. Only after receipt does NMU issue final admission and JW 202. Include signed application, passport, photo, qualification/transcripts, police and six-month medical records, English proof, a 500-word personal statement and CSCA results from the past 12 months. CSCA mathematics and chemistry are compulsory. A missed interview can be rescheduled by contacting admissions; declining both dates makes the applicant ineligible. Bring original documents for registration.

2026 Chinese-medium Clinical Medicine bachelor programme; distinct from English-medium MBBS

Apply through NMU’s portal with the signed form, passport, qualification/transcripts, HSK 4+, police/medical records, personal statement and CSCA results from the past 12 months. CSCA requires STEM Chinese, Mathematics and Chemistry. Document review precedes an emailed online-interview invitation and pre-admission. Pay the non-refundable CNY 4500 deposit within the pre-admission letter’s deadline; official admission and JW201/JW202 follow receipt. Quote your name/application number when paying and bring originals for registration. The separate CNY 500 is labeled registration fee. These 2026 instructions do not establish 2027 dates.

2026 master’s admission; distinguish MPH from other master’s programmes

Seek a supervisor’s acceptance-intent letter; an incomplete application may be reviewed but the letter must be supplied later. Upload it, notarized qualifications/transcripts, passport, police record, a 1000-word English research plan, two English recommendations and photo through NMU’s portal. Preliminary review precedes an interview and pre-admission. Pay the non-refundable deposit by the letter’s deadline: CNY 5000 for MPH or CNY 18000 otherwise. Final admission and JW201/JW202 follow receipt. Professional master’s programmes except MPH require HSK 4; academic programmes and MPH do not. English requires IELTS 6 (each component 5), TOEFL 85 (each component 15), another proficiency test, or a prior English-medium degree. The separately listed CNY 500 is registration, not this deposit. These 2026 rules do not establish 2027 dates.

Document checklist and upload instructions

Use the document list for your exact program. Prepare these common items, then add any scholarship-specific forms:

  • Identity: passport information page and photograph. Copy your name, birth date and passport number exactly into each application.
  • Education: diploma or official expected-graduation certificate, transcripts and any required degree authentication. Include the original language and certified translations where requested.
  • Language: the required HSK, IELTS, TOEFL or accepted alternative. A medium-of-instruction letter replaces a test only if the program allows it.
  • Academic materials: study plan or research proposal; graduate recommendation letters; supervisor or pre-admission letter when required. Some systems send referees a private submission link.
  • Additional requirements: CSCA results for applicable undergraduate routes; portfolio for relevant arts programs; medical form, police clearance, financial guarantee or guardian documents when listed. Check validity periods before arranging time-sensitive documents.

Scan each complete document clearly. Use the file type and size limit shown beside its upload field; combine multi-page documents only where the system permits. Open every uploaded file to check legibility, page order, signatures and stamps. Keep a copy of everything you submit.

How to fill the university application

Follow the submission method in your programme's notice. The steps below apply when it requires an online form; email and paper applications follow their separate source-linked instructions above.

  1. Open the university link for your degree level. On an admissions website, find the international-student application entry, then register or sign in. Button names vary between systems.

  3. Select the degree category, teaching language, major and study period specified by the eligible program. Keep these consistent with your university application.
  4. Upload the requested documents, review all fields and submit. Download the completed application form; sign and upload it to the university or dispatching-authority system when instructed.
