Published dates and unconfirmed windows

Application timing and source scope

The recorded review on 1 October 2026 did not confirm a 2027 notice for PKU’s ordinary international undergraduate or graduate routes; the specific 2026 application windows below have closed. The most recent published windows are the 2026 cycle: graduate (master's and doctoral) self-funded applications ran from 20 October 2025 to 23 December 2025 Beijing time; the undergraduate entrance-examination route ran from 12:00 on 1 January 2026 to 23:59 on 28 February 2026; the undergraduate no-written-examination route ran in two batches, 19 December 2025 to 28 February 2026 and 12 June 2026 to 10 July 2026; and the Boya Overseas Talent Plan ran from 19 December 2025 to 28 February 2026. All of those have closed. The 2026 graduate scholarship notice published on 12 January 2026 set the Peking University online scholarship application (covering the Chinese Government Scholarship High-Level Graduate Program, the Peking University International Student Scholarship and the Beijing Government Scholarship in one application) at 09:00 Beijing time on 9 March 2026 and the China Scholarship Council application at 24:00 Beijing time on 17 March 2026; that round has closed. The Yenching Academy official site explicitly lists the China Studies master's 2027 intake as open, with applications due by 09:00 Beijing time on 30 November 2026. This is a separate programme from PKU's ordinary graduate admissions. The university's own 招生简介 page describes the general pattern as applications in autumn and winter each year with second-round examinations in the following spring; that is a pattern statement, not a published 2027 window. The CNY 800 application fee is supported only for the cited prior-cycle routes and should be reconfirmed for the selected programme. The conflicting accommodation figures cannot be reconciled by the current general notice; no single housing price is confirmed here. Undergraduate and general graduate tuition for the 2026/2027 cycle is stated only as 待批复后另行通知 (pending approval, to be announced separately); the older published per-year baseline on the 学费及相关规定 page dates from 26 December 2019. Peking University's institution code for the CSC Type B High-Level Graduate Program is 10001, printed in the university's own 12 January 2026 scholarship notice. The CNY 800 application fee is documented for specified prior-cycle routes and should be reconfirmed for the selected programme. The general notice does not resolve the accommodation-price difference; no single housing rate is confirmed here.

Recorded CSC agency number; confirm it in the current CSC call: 10001

Document checklist and upload instructions

Use the document list for your exact program. Prepare these common items, then add any scholarship-specific forms:

  • Identity: passport information page and photograph. Copy your name, birth date and passport number exactly into each application.
  • Education: diploma or official expected-graduation certificate, transcripts and any required degree authentication. Include the original language and certified translations where requested.
  • Language: the required HSK, IELTS, TOEFL or accepted alternative. A medium-of-instruction letter replaces a test only if the program allows it.
  • Academic materials: study plan or research proposal; graduate recommendation letters; supervisor or pre-admission letter when required. Some systems send referees a private submission link.
  • Additional requirements: CSCA results for applicable undergraduate routes; portfolio for relevant arts programs; medical form, police clearance, financial guarantee or guardian documents when listed. Check validity periods before arranging time-sensitive documents.

Scan each complete document clearly. Use the file type and size limit shown beside its upload field; combine multi-page documents only where the system permits. Open every uploaded file to check legibility, page order, signatures and stamps. Keep a copy of everything you submit.

Application templates
How to fill the university application

Follow the submission method in your programme's notice. The steps below apply when it requires an online form; email and paper applications follow their separate source-linked instructions above.

  1. Open the university link for your degree level. On an admissions website, find the international-student application entry, then register or sign in. Button names vary between systems.
  2. Choose the correct entry year, degree, teaching language and program. Read its requirements before selecting your funding option.
  3. Enter personal information as it appears in your passport. List education and employment dates accurately, and enter a reliable email address.
  4. Complete the study plan and referee fields. Upload each document to its matching slot; enter a CSC application number only if your route asks for one.
  5. Preview the whole application. Follow the fee instructions, submit the form and check that the system acknowledges submission. Saving a draft does not submit it.
How to fill the CSC application
  1. Open the CSC portal below and register or sign in. Complete your personal details before starting the scholarship application.
  2. Select the application category specified in the current scholarship call. Type A commonly uses a dispatching authority and Type B a university; confirm the exact category and agency number in that route's current notice and check the receiving institution displayed by the system.
  3. Select the degree category, teaching language, major and study period specified by the eligible program. Keep these consistent with your university application.
  4. Upload the requested documents, review all fields and submit. Download the completed application form; sign and upload it to the university or dispatching-authority system when instructed.
  5. Save your application number and a copy of the submitted form. If you withdraw to edit, submit again before the deadline and tell the receiving office if it already began reviewing your application.

University agency number on record: 10001. For Type B, match it to Peking University in CSC. Type A uses your dispatching authority's number instead.
