The recorded application fee is CNY 400. The application fee (申请费/报名费) at Qingdao University is CNY 400 for the recorded standard fee-paying programmes and CNY 800 for the MBBS programme. The 2026 International Graduate Students prospectus states 申请费:400 元人民币 / 'Application Fee: 400RMB', payable after the registration information is approved, when the university emails the payment account and the applicant uploads proof of payment; its fee table lists CNY 400 for both master's and doctoral applicants. The 2027 Spring Semester Chinese Language Program Information Sheet states 'Application fee: 400 RMB / 申请费:400 元' and adds 'Application fee cannot be refunded. / 申请费不予退还.' The 2026 undergraduate prospectus fee table gives CNY 400 for the standard undergraduate programme and CNY 800 for the English-taught MBBS programme. These fee-paying route statements do not establish an application fee for the March 2027 International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship: its 2026 notice body states no amount or payment terms. Published dates and unconfirmed windows

Application timing and source scope

Qingdao University publishes a cutoff for the spring 2027 non-degree Chinese-language route; its current opening is unconfirmed: the Qingdao University 2027 Spring Semester Chinese Language Program Information Sheet (青岛大学 2027 年春季学期外国留学生语言生招生简章), published on the university site dated 16 September 2026, states the application duration as 'Before Dec.11, 2026 / 2026年12月11日之前', with the semester running March to July 2027 and marked 待定 (to be confirmed), and registration expected in March 2027. This is a non-degree Chinese-language programme and no scholarship is attached to it — the information sheet directs scholarship applicants to the separate scholarship notes instead. All 2026 degree windows have closed: the 2026 graduate prospectus (青岛大学2026年外国留学生研究生招生简章, PDF path dated 14 May 2026) set self-funded graduate application to before 15 May 2026, with the new academic year expected to start in early September 2026; the 2026 undergraduate prospectus set application to before 31 May 2026; the 2026 CSC Type B High Level Postgraduate Program required the QDU online application before 1 February 2026 and CSC portal filing before 10 March 2026; the 2026 CSC Silk Road Program (Type B) ran 1 May 2026 to 25 May 2026 on both the CSC website and the QDU system; the 2026 Presidential Scholarship deadline was 20 April 2026 with results normally announced at the end of June. No notice for a 2027 autumn degree intake had been published as of 28 September 2026, and the university's scholarship pages still carried 2026 guides. A separate 2026 International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship notice read on 3 October 2026 explicitly offers March 2027 one-semester entry, with student applications closing 31 October 2026. The notice separately prints March 1–May 15, 2026 and the March 2027 cutoff, without independently stating this spring track’s opening date. Applicants first apply on chinese.cn, follow emailed interview instructions, and register in QDU’s portal only after university pre-admission reaches scholarship evaluation. This award route does not use the self-funded language deadline or establish its CNY 400 fee; the scholarship notice body states no application-fee amount or payment terms.

Recorded CSC agency number; confirm it in the current CSC call: 11065

Guide scope reviewed 3 October 2026. Dates apply only to the intake and route named in each notice.

  1. 1

    Choose your program and intake

Check Qingdao University's current prospectus for your degree, teaching language, eligibility and deadline. Arrange supervisor contact or pre-admission first when the program requires it.

    Read official admission instructions
  2. 2

    Prepare your documents

Use the checklist below, then compare it with your program's required documents. Prepare any signed forms, translations and referee submissions before starting the final application.

  3. 3

    Complete the university application

Use the official application link and complete the fields required for your route. Submit documents only through the channel and at the stage stated in the current notice. Pay a charge only when instructed; retain any submission confirmation the system provides.

  4. 4

    Review your offer and costs

Check tuition, accommodation, insurance, payment deadlines and any financial-guarantee requirement. Accept the offer through the university's stated process. A CSC application is not part of a purely self-funded route.

  5. 5

Track decisions and respond to requests

Check your portal and email for missing-document requests, interviews and results. If a form is returned, correct it and resubmit. Keep admission and scholarship decisions separate; follow the final offer for acceptance, registration and original-document checks.

Document checklist and upload instructions

Use the document list for your exact program. Prepare these common items, then add any scholarship-specific forms:

  • Identity: passport information page and photograph. Copy your name, birth date and passport number exactly into each application.
  • Education: diploma or official expected-graduation certificate, transcripts and any required degree authentication. Include the original language and certified translations where requested.
  • Language: the required HSK, IELTS, TOEFL or accepted alternative. A medium-of-instruction letter replaces a test only if the program allows it.
  • Academic materials: study plan or research proposal; graduate recommendation letters; supervisor or pre-admission letter when required. Some systems send referees a private submission link.
  • Additional requirements: CSCA results for applicable undergraduate routes; portfolio for relevant arts programs; medical form, police clearance, financial guarantee or guardian documents when listed. Check validity periods before arranging time-sensitive documents.

Scan each complete document clearly. Use the file type and size limit shown beside its upload field; combine multi-page documents only where the system permits. Open every uploaded file to check legibility, page order, signatures and stamps. Keep a copy of everything you submit.

Application templates
How to fill the university application

Follow the submission method in your programme's notice. The steps below apply when it requires an online form; email and paper applications follow their separate source-linked instructions above.

  1. Open the university link for your degree level. On an admissions website, find the international-student application entry, then register or sign in. Button names vary between systems.
  2. Choose the correct entry year, degree, teaching language and program. Read its requirements before selecting your funding option.
  3. Enter personal information as it appears in your passport. List education and employment dates accurately, and enter a reliable email address.
  4. Complete the study plan and referee fields. Upload each document to its matching slot; enter a CSC application number only if your route asks for one.
  5. Preview the whole application. Follow the fee instructions, submit the form and check that the system acknowledges submission. Saving a draft does not submit it.
How to fill the CSC application
  1. Open the CSC portal below and register or sign in. Complete your personal details before starting the scholarship application.
  2. Select the application category specified in the current scholarship call. Type A commonly uses a dispatching authority and Type B a university; confirm the exact category and agency number in that route's current notice and check the receiving institution displayed by the system.
  3. Select the degree category, teaching language, major and study period specified by the eligible program. Keep these consistent with your university application.
  4. Upload the requested documents, review all fields and submit. Download the completed application form; sign and upload it to the university or dispatching-authority system when instructed.
  5. Save your application number and a copy of the submitted form. If you withdraw to edit, submit again before the deadline and tell the receiving office if it already began reviewing your application.

University agency number on record: 11065. For Type B, match it to Qingdao University in CSC. Type A uses your dispatching authority's number instead.
