Published dates and unconfirmed windows

Application timing and source scope

Shenzhen University's 2026 admission brochures give dated rounds for the 2026/2027 academic year. Undergraduate applications ran in two rounds: 1 January to 20 March 2026 (first round, with pre-admission results emailed in April 2026) and 20 March to 31 May 2026 (second round, with pre-admission results emailed in June 2026), and final admission materials were sent in July 2026; both rounds have closed. Master's applications ran as a single window from 1 January to 31 May 2026 and have also closed. Doctoral applicants apply through the same 1 January to 31 May window for the autumn 2026 intake, while a separate spring 2026 doctoral brochure carried its own earlier round. Master's and doctoral applicants must first obtain an Intent Supervisor Recommendation Letter from a potential supervisor, so the effective departmental cut-off is earlier than the published dates. The Guangdong Government Outstanding International Student Scholarship lists published 6 July 2026 show that scholarship's own application round ran separately during 2026. No 2027/2028 intake notice had been published as of 17 September 2026.

Guide scope reviewed 3 October 2026. Dates apply only to the intake and route named in each notice.

Document checklist and upload instructions

Use the document list for your exact program. Prepare these common items, then add any scholarship-specific forms:

  • Identity: passport information page and photograph. Copy your name, birth date and passport number exactly into each application.
  • Education: diploma or official expected-graduation certificate, transcripts and any required degree authentication. Include the original language and certified translations where requested.
  • Language: the required HSK, IELTS, TOEFL or accepted alternative. A medium-of-instruction letter replaces a test only if the program allows it.
  • Academic materials: study plan or research proposal; graduate recommendation letters; supervisor or pre-admission letter when required. Some systems send referees a private submission link.
  • Additional requirements: CSCA results for applicable undergraduate routes; portfolio for relevant arts programs; medical form, police clearance, financial guarantee or guardian documents when listed. Check validity periods before arranging time-sensitive documents.

Scan each complete document clearly. Use the file type and size limit shown beside its upload field; combine multi-page documents only where the system permits. Open every uploaded file to check legibility, page order, signatures and stamps. Keep a copy of everything you submit.
