Published dates and unconfirmed windows

Application timing and source scope

South China Agricultural University's own Prospectus for International Student (来华留学招生简章), published by the College of International Education on 2 February 2026, sets the self-funded degree-programme cut-off for the September intake at 30 June of the enrolment year, so the 2026/2027 September intake closed on 30 June 2026; applications are accepted year-round until that date. The same prospectus sets the Chinese Language Programme cut-off at 30 June for the September intake and 31 December of the prior year for the February spring intake, this is a standing rule, not an independently confirmed December 31, 2026 cutoff for a named Spring 2027 intake. For CSC awards the university's own 高校研究生 Chinese Government Scholarship prospectus (published 21 March 2022) ran a very short institutional window of 21 to 31 March 2022 and its 高校自主招生 notice gives an annual window of late January to early April with expert review in mid-April, provincial submission in early May and CSC admission letters issued by the end of June; those historical and annual rules do not establish a dated 2026/2027 CSC window or its status. The dated 2026 Guangdong Provincial Government newcomer scholarship guide requires applications before 1 September 2026; this round is closed. Applicants must already be admitted self-funded students and have paid the required charges. The one-time awards are CNY 10,000 undergraduate, 20,000 master’s and 30,000 doctoral. Continuing-student awards follow a separate notice; the older standing July 15/September 11 dates are not established here as current 2026 cutoffs. No notice for the 2027/2028 intake has been published as of 17 September 2026.

Document checklist and upload instructions

Use the document list for your exact program. Prepare these common items, then add any scholarship-specific forms:

  • Identity: passport information page and photograph. Copy your name, birth date and passport number exactly into each application.
  • Education: diploma or official expected-graduation certificate, transcripts and any required degree authentication. Include the original language and certified translations where requested.
  • Language: the required HSK, IELTS, TOEFL or accepted alternative. A medium-of-instruction letter replaces a test only if the program allows it.
  • Academic materials: study plan or research proposal; graduate recommendation letters; supervisor or pre-admission letter when required. Some systems send referees a private submission link.
  • Additional requirements: CSCA results for applicable undergraduate routes; portfolio for relevant arts programs; medical form, police clearance, financial guarantee or guardian documents when listed. Check validity periods before arranging time-sensitive documents.

Scan each complete document clearly. Use the file type and size limit shown beside its upload field; combine multi-page documents only where the system permits. Open every uploaded file to check legibility, page order, signatures and stamps. Keep a copy of everything you submit.
