Published dates and unconfirmed windows

Application timing and source scope

Taiyuan University of Science and Technology publishes one dated window for the 2026 intake. Its 2026 International Student Enrollment Guide, published on the School of International Education and Exchange site on 3 February 2026 in both Chinese and English, states a single application deadline of 10 May 2026, after which applications are no longer accepted (逾期不再受理申请); that window has closed as of 28 September 2026. The guide covers master's and doctoral degree applicants only, with online submission through tyust.at0086.cn/student and no postal originals required unless the university requests them. The university's announcement list contains exactly one notice — this 2026 guide — and no 2027 intake notice had been published when I checked on 28 September 2026. The 2025 counterpart guide set the same 10 May deadline for 2025 (截至2025年5月10日), so 10 May is the university's pattern, but no published 2027 notice confirms a 2027 date. No separate scholarship deadline, CSC deadline or departmental cut-off is published, and TYUST states nowhere that it accepts Chinese Government Scholarship applicants.

Guide scope reviewed 3 October 2026. Dates apply only to the intake and route named in each notice.

Document checklist and upload instructions

Use the document list for your exact program. Prepare these common items, then add any scholarship-specific forms:

  • Identity: passport information page and photograph. Copy your name, birth date and passport number exactly into each application.
  • Education: diploma or official expected-graduation certificate, transcripts and any required degree authentication. Include the original language and certified translations where requested.
  • Language: the required HSK, IELTS, TOEFL or accepted alternative. A medium-of-instruction letter replaces a test only if the program allows it.
  • Academic materials: study plan or research proposal; graduate recommendation letters; supervisor or pre-admission letter when required. Some systems send referees a private submission link.
  • Additional requirements: CSCA results for applicable undergraduate routes; portfolio for relevant arts programs; medical form, police clearance, financial guarantee or guardian documents when listed. Check validity periods before arranging time-sensitive documents.

Scan each complete document clearly. Use the file type and size limit shown beside its upload field; combine multi-page documents only where the system permits. Open every uploaded file to check legibility, page order, signatures and stamps. Keep a copy of everything you submit.

  3. Enter personal information as it appears in your passport. List education and employment dates accurately, and enter a reliable email address.
  4. Complete the study plan and referee fields. Upload each document to its matching slot; enter a CSC application number only if your route asks for one.
