Published dates and unconfirmed windows

Application timing and source scope

Wuhan University publishes month-level self-funded spring 2027 windows and a separate short-term China-Link route, when this was checked on 1 October 2026. For the 2027 spring semester the university's own pages give the application period as October 2026 to December 2026 for self-funded undergraduate applicants and for non-degree visiting scholars; both are month-level only, no day-level opening or closing date is published, and no degree-level master's or doctoral spring 2027 window is published. The 2027 autumn (2027-2028) window is not published. The most recent published windows are the 2026 cycle: undergraduate applications ran from 1 October 2025 to 30 June 2026 and master's and doctoral applications from 1 December 2025 to 15 June 2026, with the university's own pages giving the undergraduate autumn deadline as 30 June 2026 on one page and 15 June 2026 on a sibling listing — an unresolved official difference recorded rather than smoothed over. The Chinese Government Scholarship High-Level Graduate Program (Type B) ran from 15 November 2025 to 25 February 2026 and the New Sinology Program doctoral route closed on 28 February 2026; all have closed. No 2027/2028 degree Type B call was located in that check. The separate China-Link short-term 2027 spring route has a 20 December 2026 deadline, recorded from the prior official notice; that notice returned HTTP 403 on 2 October 2026. Prior recorded 2026 notice evidence gives CNY 800 or USD 111 for fee-paying applicants, due within seven days after document review, and reports a CSC exemption. The source returned HTTP 403 on 2 October 2026; the exact route instruction was not freshly re-verified. Tuition is published per year, from CNY 20,000 for undergraduate humanities to CNY 55,000 for English-taught doctoral medicine, and language-student tuition is CNY 8,500 per semester or CNY 17,000 per year. A current room-specific accommodation tariff was not re-verified; confirm room type, billing period and charge with the university. Medical insurance is published on two official pages as CNY 500 per semester or CNY 1,000 per year in English and CNY 400 per semester or CNY 800 per year in Chinese — an unresolved official difference recorded rather than smoothed over. Wuhan University's CSC institution code for Type B is 10486, printed in its own notices. The undergraduate 2026 cutoff conflicts across university notices (15 June versus 30 June); both are historical and neither is a 2027 date. Prior recorded 2026 notice evidence reports a CSC fee exemption. The source returned HTTP 403 on 2 October 2026; confirm the exact route's payment instruction before paying. Room-specific accommodation rates remain unverified. The English and Chinese insurance pages conflict (CNY 1,000/year versus CNY 800/year); confirm with the university before budgeting. Type B high-level graduate coverage is postgraduate only; do not imply a confirmed 2027 bachelor stipend.

Document checklist and upload instructions

Use the document list for your exact program. Prepare these common items, then add any scholarship-specific forms:

  • Identity: passport information page and photograph. Copy your name, birth date and passport number exactly into each application.
  • Education: diploma or official expected-graduation certificate, transcripts and any required degree authentication. Include the original language and certified translations where requested.
  • Language: the required HSK, IELTS, TOEFL or accepted alternative. A medium-of-instruction letter replaces a test only if the program allows it.
  • Academic materials: study plan or research proposal; graduate recommendation letters; supervisor or pre-admission letter when required. Some systems send referees a private submission link.
  • Additional requirements: CSCA results for applicable undergraduate routes; portfolio for relevant arts programs; medical form, police clearance, financial guarantee or guardian documents when listed. Check validity periods before arranging time-sensitive documents.

Scan each complete document clearly. Use the file type and size limit shown beside its upload field; combine multi-page documents only where the system permits. Open every uploaded file to check legibility, page order, signatures and stamps. Keep a copy of everything you submit.

Application templates
How to fill the university application

Follow the submission method in your programme's notice. The steps below apply when it requires an online form; email and paper applications follow their separate source-linked instructions above.

  1. Open the university link for your degree level. On an admissions website, find the international-student application entry, then register or sign in. Button names vary between systems.
  2. Choose the correct entry year, degree, teaching language and program. Read its requirements before selecting your funding option.
  3. Enter personal information as it appears in your passport. List education and employment dates accurately, and enter a reliable email address.
  4. Complete the study plan and referee fields. Upload each document to its matching slot; enter a CSC application number only if your route asks for one.
  5. Preview the whole application. Follow the fee instructions, submit the form and check that the system acknowledges submission. Saving a draft does not submit it.
How to fill the CSC application
  1. Open the CSC portal below and register or sign in. Complete your personal details before starting the scholarship application.
  2. Select the application category specified in the current scholarship call. Type A commonly uses a dispatching authority and Type B a university; confirm the exact category and agency number in that route's current notice and check the receiving institution displayed by the system.
  3. Select the degree category, teaching language, major and study period specified by the eligible program. Keep these consistent with your university application.
  4. Upload the requested documents, review all fields and submit. Download the completed application form; sign and upload it to the university or dispatching-authority system when instructed.
  5. Save your application number and a copy of the submitted form. If you withdraw to edit, submit again before the deadline and tell the receiving office if it already began reviewing your application.

University agency number on record: 10486. For Type B, match it to Wuhan University in CSC. Type A uses your dispatching authority's number instead.
