The application-fee status has not been verified for the current route. A separate application-fee amount or exemption was not established in the reviewed XJTLU international undergraduate and postgraduate admissions pages. The how-to-apply pages state non-refundable offer-holder deposits credited against tuition: RMB 10,000 for international undergraduates and RMB 20,000 for master’s applicants, described as "part of your tuition fee" and "deducted from your first year's tuition fee" respectively. Neither deposit is recorded as an application fee. The reviewed fees-and-scholarships pages list tuition and scholarship values without establishing a separate application charge or free submission. Application-fee status remains unknown, not free.

Published dates and unconfirmed windows
XJTLU's official master's page explicitly states that its 2027 application portal is open; the exact opening date is unstated. For master's programmes the 2027 Intake Application Portal opened with a February 2027 intake deadline of 5pm Beijing time on 15 November 2026 and a September 2027 intake deadline of 5pm Beijing time on 15 June 2027; the Master's Entry Scholarship deadlines are 1 November 2026 for the February 2027 intake and 1 June 2027 for the September 2027 intake. The official portal lists these 2027 master's intakes; applicants should check current programme availability. A future deadline alone does not establish that an application window is open. For international undergraduate entry the September 2026 intake has closed: its final application deadline was 15 June 2026, with an earlier early-bird cut-off of 15 April 2026 for the 10 percent international undergraduate tuition discount, a sibling-discount request date of 15 June 2026, Year Two direct entry and Year Three transfer deadlines of 15 May 2026 for Architecture, Filmmaking, TV Production and Digital Media Arts, and an industry-leadership scholarship round schedule of 30 November 2025, 15 January 2026, 28 February 2026, 31 March 2026 and 15 May 2026. For 2027 September master's entry, conditional-offer holders must evidence the English requirement by 24 June 2027 and the academic requirement with degree certificate and final transcript by 8 July 2027; deferral requests are due 15 January 2027 for the February 2027 intake and 13 August 2027 for the September 2027 intake, and deposit-refund documents are due 1 September 2027. XJTLU is a Sino-British joint-venture university, not a Chinese Government Scholarship host, so no CSC or provincial government scholarship deadline applies to its international applicants. The current official undergraduate application page separately gives 31 May 2027 for most September 2027 programmes and 30 April 2027 for Year Three transfer. It states no opening day. The current undergraduate fees page confirms the Entry Scholarship final deadline of April 30, 2027, with rounds on November 30, 2026 and January 15, February 28, March 31 and April 30, 2027. The 10% early-bird discount requires application documents and an offer by March 31, 2027, supporting documents by June 30 subject to the stated exceptions, and deposit payment by the offer's deadline. Sibling-discount requests close May 31, 2027.
Guide scope reviewed 3 October 2026. Dates apply only to the intake and route named in each notice.
International undergraduate entry; Hong Kong/Macao/Taiwan exam routes follow their separate government system
Apply through the programme page and upload documents. A future cutoff alone does not establish that applications are open. The CNY 10,000 offer deposit offsets tuition.
Entry Scholarship; up to 50% annual tuition, renewed subject to academic performance
Be offer-ready for the relevant round. The final April 30 scholarship cutoff is earlier than most undergraduate admission deadlines.
10% discount; excludes Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan applicants
Supporting documents are due June 30 subject to the published IB/A-level and transcript exceptions. Pay the deposit by the date on the unconditional offer. This is a discount requirement, not the final admission cutoff.
5%, 10% and 15% for the second, third and fourth sibling respectively
Contact international@xjtlu.edu.cn to request the sibling discount. This date applies to the discount request.
