Yanbian University publishes dated stages for named intakes. The 2026/2027 CSC High-Level Graduate Program (中国政府奖学金高水平研究生项目, Type B) notice set the deadline at 1 March 2026, covering full-time master's (3 years) and doctoral (4 years) study; that intake has closed. The self-funded bachelor's 自费项目 deadline for the 2026 intake was 20 June 2026, also closed. For the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship, the September 2026 entry closed on 15 May and the March 2027 entry closes on 31 October (Beijing time), so that round is still ahead. The CSC China Link short-term research exchange 2026 round requires study in China to begin no later than 31 August 2027, with submission to YBU at least three months before study starts. Two stages are published only as recurring annual dates and so cannot be scoped to a named intake: the Jilin Provincial Government Scholarship closes on 15 June each year, and self-funded master's and doctoral applications close on 25 July each year. No 2027/2028 CSC Type B or bachelor's notice is published yet; the newest site activity is 2026 fall-semester orientation news dated September 2026. The Chinese pages are newer than the English page, which still shows the July 20, 2025 / January 15, 2025 cycle.

How to apply to Yanbian University
Choose your funding route to see where to start, which systems to use and what to submit.
A university-specific 2027 schedule is not established by the reviewed sources. Confirm the program’s current Type B availability, opening date and deadline in its dated notice.
The 2026/2027 graduate deadline was March 1, 2026. Apply in the CSC system using Type B and agency 10184. Initial submission does not require pre-admission. After university review, upload the issued pre-admission letter to CSC to complete the application; the university then recommends candidates. Prepare notarized degrees and transcripts, language evidence, a research plan of at least 1,000 words, two academic references, passport, medical and police documents, and relevant art work. Doctoral plans require the Chinese supervisor’s signature. CSC applicants pay no application fee. Bring originals to registration after final selection.
Reference: 2026/2027. Confirm the latest notice for the same course and route before applying.
Check Yanbian University's current prospectus for your degree, teaching language, eligibility and deadline. Arrange supervisor contact or pre-admission first when the program requires it.
Use the checklist below, then compare it with your program's required documents. Prepare any signed forms, translations and referee submissions before starting the final application.

Complete the CSC application
Use the application type, agency number, degree level, and submission order stated in the current call. A university-hosted place may use Type B; an embassy-nominated place may use Type A. Do not select a route or reuse a prior-cycle code unless the current notice confirms it.
Check your portal and email for missing-document requests, interviews and results. If a form is returned, correct it and resubmit. Keep admission and scholarship decisions separate; follow the final offer for acceptance, registration and original-document checks.
Use the document list for your exact program. Prepare these common items, then add any scholarship-specific forms:
Identity: passport information page and photograph. Copy your name, birth date and passport number exactly into each application.
Education: diploma or official expected-graduation certificate, transcripts and any required degree authentication. Include the original language and certified translations where requested.
Language: the required HSK, IELTS, TOEFL or accepted alternative. A medium-of-instruction letter replaces a test only if the program allows it.
Academic materials: study plan or research proposal; graduate recommendation letters; supervisor or pre-admission letter when required. Some systems send referees a private submission link.
Additional requirements: CSCA results for applicable undergraduate routes; portfolio for relevant arts programs; medical form, police clearance, financial guarantee or guardian documents when listed. Check validity periods before arranging time-sensitive documents.
Scan each complete document clearly. Use the file type and size limit shown beside its upload field; combine multi-page documents only where the system permits. Open every uploaded file to check legibility, page order, signatures and stamps. Keep a copy of everything you submit.
Follow the submission method in your programme's notice. The steps below apply when it requires an online form; email and paper applications follow their separate source-linked instructions above.
Open the university link for your degree level. On an admissions website, find the international-student application entry, then register or sign in. Button names vary between systems.
Choose the correct entry year, degree, teaching language and program. Read its requirements before selecting your funding option.
Enter personal information as it appears in your passport. List education and employment dates accurately, and enter a reliable email address.
Complete the study plan and referee fields. Upload each document to its matching slot; enter a CSC application number only if your route asks for one.
Preview the whole application. Follow the fee instructions, submit the form and check that the system acknowledges submission. Saving a draft does not submit it.
How to fill the CSC application
Open the CSC portal below and register or sign in. Complete your personal details before starting the scholarship application.
Select the application category specified in the current scholarship call. Type A commonly uses a dispatching authority and Type B a university; confirm the exact category and agency number in that route's current notice and check the receiving institution displayed by the system.
Select the degree category, teaching language, major and study period specified by the eligible program. Keep these consistent with your university application.
Upload the requested documents, review all fields and submit. Download the completed application form; sign and upload it to the university or dispatching-authority system when instructed.
Save your application number and a copy of the submitted form. If you withdraw to edit, submit again before the deadline and tell the receiving office if it already began reviewing your application.
University agency number on record: 10184. For Type B, match it to Yanbian University in CSC. Type A uses your dispatching authority's number instead.
