Application dates — official notice audit
The 2026 bachelor guide sets Yunnan Provincial Scholarship deadline February 6, 2026, Chinese-origin aid deadline June 30, 2026, and ICLTS March 1–May 15, 2026. All are closed. CSC Type A deadlines come from the embassy/dispatching authority. Chinese-origin aid is partial: either tuition and registration waived with other costs self-paid, or half tuition plus campus accommodation with other costs self-paid. These dates do not establish a 2027 call. Source: https://lx.ynnu.edu.cn/info/1266/1006.htm
Recorded route dates — 2026 undergraduate dates and current next-cycle status
The dated 2026 official international undergraduate guide, published 2025-12-24, gives self-funded bachelor window 2025-12-01 to 2026-06-10, plus scholarship dates below. It specifies fall entry, usually registration in late August/early September. The official site/search index checked 2026-10-02 continues to surface 2026 guides and did not surface a 2027 international-student bachelor guide; next-cycle exact dates therefore remain unknown. These dates retain the notice’s recorded cycle; they are not a new application forecast. Source: https://lx.ynnu.edu.cn/info/1266/1006.htm

Published dates and unconfirmed windows

Application timing and source scope

The 2026 bachelor guide sets Yunnan Provincial Scholarship deadline February 6, 2026, Chinese-origin aid deadline June 30, 2026, and ICLTS March 1–May 15, 2026. All are closed. The university's 2026 international student (language student) prospectus, published 4 January 2026 and reopened 3 October 2026, separately sets the spring 2027 (March) non-degree language window at 1 September 2026 to 15 November 2026, which is open, and the autumn 2026 window at 1 December 2025 to 10 June 2026, which has closed. CSC Type A deadlines come from the embassy/dispatching authority. Chinese-origin aid is partial: either tuition and registration waived with other costs self-paid, or half tuition plus campus accommodation with other costs self-paid. The language prospectus publishes no scholarship deadline against the spring 2027 intake and does not restate the 31 October 2026 International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship date, so these bachelor-guide dates do not establish a 2027 scholarship call.

The January 4, 2026 prospectus explicitly names spring 2027. Scholarship calendars are separate; this is not an autumn degree or CSC deadline.

Read the university's procedure
  1. 1

    Choose your program and intake

Check Yunnan Normal University's current prospectus for your degree, teaching language, eligibility and deadline. Arrange supervisor contact or pre-admission first when the program requires it.

    Read official admission instructions
  2. 2

    Prepare your documents

Use the checklist below, then compare it with your program's required documents. Prepare any signed forms, translations and referee submissions before starting the final application.

  3. 3

Follow the portal order in the Type B notice

If it asks for the CSC form in the university system, finish CSC first and upload that form. If it asks for university admission or recommendation first, complete that stage before CSC. Where both systems are required, submit to both; use a CSC-only process only when the official notice explicitly specifies it.

    Read official admission instructions
  4. 4

    Complete the required application systems

Use the university and CSC instructions below in the order specified by your program. Keep names, degree, major and teaching language consistent across the forms. Check submission status in every required system.

  5. 5

Track decisions and respond to requests

Check your portal and email for missing-document requests, interviews and results. If a form is returned, correct it and resubmit. Keep admission and scholarship decisions separate; follow the final offer for acceptance, registration and original-document checks.

Document checklist and upload instructions

Use the document list for your exact program. Prepare these common items, then add any scholarship-specific forms:

  • Identity: passport information page and photograph. Copy your name, birth date and passport number exactly into each application.
  • Education: diploma or official expected-graduation certificate, transcripts and any required degree authentication. Include the original language and certified translations where requested.
  • Language: the required HSK, IELTS, TOEFL or accepted alternative. A medium-of-instruction letter replaces a test only if the program allows it.
  • Academic materials: study plan or research proposal; graduate recommendation letters; supervisor or pre-admission letter when required. Some systems send referees a private submission link.
  • Additional requirements: CSCA results for applicable undergraduate routes; portfolio for relevant arts programs; medical form, police clearance, financial guarantee or guardian documents when listed. Check validity periods before arranging time-sensitive documents.

Scan each complete document clearly. Use the file type and size limit shown beside its upload field; combine multi-page documents only where the system permits. Open every uploaded file to check legibility, page order, signatures and stamps. Keep a copy of everything you submit.

Application templates
How to fill the university application

Follow the submission method in your programme's notice. The steps below apply when it requires an online form; email and paper applications follow their separate source-linked instructions above.

  1. Open the university link for your degree level. On an admissions website, find the international-student application entry, then register or sign in. Button names vary between systems.
  2. Choose the correct entry year, degree, teaching language and program. Read its requirements before selecting your funding option.
  3. Enter personal information as it appears in your passport. List education and employment dates accurately, and enter a reliable email address.
  4. Complete the study plan and referee fields. Upload each document to its matching slot; enter a CSC application number only if your route asks for one.
  5. Preview the whole application. Follow the fee instructions, submit the form and check that the system acknowledges submission. Saving a draft does not submit it.
How to fill the CSC application
  1. Open the CSC portal below and register or sign in. Complete your personal details before starting the scholarship application.
  2. Select the application category specified in the current scholarship call. Type A commonly uses a dispatching authority and Type B a university; confirm the exact category and agency number in that route's current notice and check the receiving institution displayed by the system.
  3. Select the degree category, teaching language, major and study period specified by the eligible program. Keep these consistent with your university application.
  4. Upload the requested documents, review all fields and submit. Download the completed application form; sign and upload it to the university or dispatching-authority system when instructed.
  5. Save your application number and a copy of the submitted form. If you withdraw to edit, submit again before the deadline and tell the receiving office if it already began reviewing your application.

University agency number on record: 10681. For Type B, match it to Yunnan Normal University in CSC. Type A uses your dispatching authority's number instead.
