Historical international degree/general admission

The 2023 brochure accepts an application through BUPT’s portal or postal submission to its International Office. Prepare the prescribed documents; bring originals on arrival for online submissions. University review precedes mailed admission and JW202, then visa and registration. Chinese degree entry requires HSK 4; English graduate entry lists TOEFL 80. Master/doctoral applicants need at least two above-associate-professor references as worded. The application fee is RMB 500, payable in cash, remittance or bank transfer; timing is unstated. Document checklist and upload instructions

Use the document list for your exact program. Prepare these common items, then add any scholarship-specific forms:

  • Identity: passport information page and photograph. Copy your name, birth date and passport number exactly into each application.
  • Education: diploma or official expected-graduation certificate, transcripts and any required degree authentication. Include the original language and certified translations where requested.
  • Language: the required HSK, IELTS, TOEFL or accepted alternative. A medium-of-instruction letter replaces a test only if the program allows it.
  • Academic materials: study plan or research proposal; graduate recommendation letters; supervisor or pre-admission letter when required. Some systems send referees a private submission link.
  • Additional requirements: CSCA results for applicable undergraduate routes; portfolio for relevant arts programs; medical form, police clearance, financial guarantee or guardian documents when listed. Check validity periods before arranging time-sensitive documents.

Scan each complete document clearly. Use the file type and size limit shown beside its upload field; combine multi-page documents only where the system permits. Open every uploaded file to check legibility, page order, signatures and stamps. Keep a copy of everything you submit.
