How to apply to China Jiliang University

中国计量大学

Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China

This guide brings together the application routes, published timing, submission methods, scholarship steps, documents, and source links recorded for China Jiliang University. Requirements can differ by degree, program, teaching language, and funding route. The university’s current notice controls the application.

Funding route on this profile

This profile does not currently list a verified CSC university route. Review the university’s latest notice before choosing a scholarship or self-funded application.

Application fee

The application-fee status has not been verified for the current route. The reviewed 2026 brochures list annual bachelor’s tuition of CNY 15,000 for International Economics and Trade, Business Administration and Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages, and CNY 18,000 for the other clearly priced engineering, science, pharmacy and art programmes. Standardization Engineering is CNY 15,000 in the Chinese table but misprinted as ‘1,5000’ in English. Both language tables print Quality Management Engineering as ‘1,5000’; obtain a corrected figure before payment. Master’s tuition is CNY 22,000 per academic year for International Business and International Chinese Education, and CNY 25,000 for the other seven listed programmes. Triple/quadruple rooms cost CNY 3,000/CNY 2,800 per person per bed per year. The full brochures do not specify an application charge, exemption, payment stage or refund rule; omission is not a waiver. The separately reviewed, closed 2026 camp packages were CNY 6,700 for two weeks or CNY 12,900 for four weeks. All figures are tied to their named 2026 programmes.

Source-linked admission details

Full Chinese and English 2026 bachelor’s/master’s prospectuses recovered and read on October 3, 2026. These details apply to autumn 2026 entry and do not confirm 2027 dates or award availability. The brochures leave an application charge/payment rule unstated, contain a misprinted Quality Management Engineering tuition figure, and differ in some nationality and scholarship wording; the qualifications below preserve those limits. · recorded source check: September 17, 2026

Application deadline
All four 2026 degree prospectuses give June 30, 2026, subject to adjustment according to applications, and September 2026 registration as specified in the admission letter. They give no opening date or separately dated scholarship cutoff. These historical dates have passed; confirm any extension separately.
Bachelor’s tuition and teaching language
The 2026 table lists 17 majors. International Economics and Trade, Business Administration and TCSOL cost CNY 15,000 per academic year; the Chinese Standardization Engineering row also gives CNY 15,000, while its English row prints ‘1,5000’. Twelve other clearly priced majors cost CNY 18,000. Quality Management Engineering is misprinted ‘1,5000’ in both editions, so its intended fee needs confirmation. TCSOL is Chinese-taught; the other 16 rows list English or Chinese.
Master’s tuition and teaching language
International Business and International Chinese Education cost CNY 22,000 per academic year in the 2026 table. Information and Communication Engineering, Control Science and Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Instrument Science and Technology, Design (Master of Fine Arts), Electronic Information (Optoelectronic Information Engineering) and Optical Engineering cost CNY 25,000. International Chinese Education is Chinese-taught; the other eight list English and Chinese.
Freshmen scholarship coverage
The 2026 bachelor’s and master’s brochures describe three freshmen awards: Class A covers the first academic year’s tuition, Class B the first semester’s tuition, and Class C half of the first semester’s tuition. These are tuition awards with language, academic and, where applicable, attendance conditions; they do not establish 2027 availability.
Master’s presidential scholarship
The 2026 master’s award covers tuition, on-campus accommodation excluding water/electricity, CNY 3,000 per month and medical insurance. CNY 700 monthly off-campus accommodation support applies when university dormitory shortage requires off-campus housing. Applicants must meet admission/language rules, follow Chinese and university rules, have no bad record and hold no other scholarship concurrently.
Accommodation
The 2026 bachelor’s and master’s brochures list triple rooms at CNY 3,000 and quadruple rooms at CNY 2,800 per person per bed per academic year. The master’s presidential award has separate housing coverage and conditions.
Qualification and document validity
Bachelor’s applicants submit high-school graduation proof/transcripts; master’s applicants submit bachelor’s degree proof/transcripts. Add Chinese or English translations if originals are in neither language. Both lists require a medical report within six months, a police certificate within three months or the issuing authority’s stated validity, and a passport expiring after September 1, 2027.
Language and media uploads
For the 2026 degree checklist, Chinese-taught applicants provide valid HSK 4 or higher and English-taught applicants provide English proficiency evidence; no numeric general English admission threshold is stated. Include a one-minute self-introduction video in Chinese or English and a two-inch colour, bareheaded photo on a white background, without a frame, head occupying two-thirds, at least 320×240 pixels, 4:3 height-to-width ratio, 100–500 KB and JPG format. The printed dimensions and ratio should be checked against the application system.
Financial guarantee and transfer documents
The 2026 lists require an anti-drug statement and financial guarantee letter, without specifying a minimum bank balance. Applicants previously/currently studying in China submit relevant study proof, transcripts, conduct/attendance records, visa or residence-permit page and previous/current tutor contact details; master’s applicants add a transfer letter when required. SIE may request other programme documents.
Presidential award uploads
In the CJLU application system, 2026 master’s presidential applicants add a Chinese/English study or research plan covering study/work history, research achievements, study plans and post-graduation development; references from two professors/associate professors; academic papers or achievements if available; and a CJLU master’s supervisor acceptance/approval letter if available. The brochure does not make the last two mandatory for every applicant.
Application fee
The four full 2026 prospectuses do not specify an application charge, exemption, payment stage or refund rule. Fee status remains unknown: this is not evidence of free application or a general prohibition on payment. Confirm any current charge in the chosen programme’s instructions.
Tuition table errors
The English 2026 undergraduate table prints ‘1,5000’ for Standardization Engineering and Quality Management Engineering. The Chinese table gives Standardization Engineering as CNY 15,000 but repeats ‘1,5000’ for Quality Management Engineering. The intended quality-management figure must not be normalised without university confirmation.

Published dates and unconfirmed windows

Application timing and source scope

The four official 2026 bachelor’s and master’s prospectuses, downloaded and read on October 3, 2026, state June 30, 2026 as the application deadline, adjustable according to applications, and September 2026 registration as specified in the admission letter. Those dates have passed; confirm any extension in a separate official notice. The brochures give no opening date or separately dated scholarship deadline. They describe university freshmen awards for bachelor’s/master’s applicants and a presidential award for master’s applicants, but do not establish 2027 award availability or a current CSC window. The previously reviewed brochure index listed four 2026 editions; that bounded index review does not prove no 2027 notice exists elsewhere. The separate 2026 summer camp closed on May 15 for July 4–17 or July 4–31 study, not degree admission.

Guide scope reviewed 3 October 2026. Dates apply only to the intake and route named in each notice.

Nationality conditions in the historical 2026 prospectuses

The 2026 brochures address non-Chinese passport holders. For emigrants from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan, Chinese says foreign citizenship before April 30, 2022 and at least two years abroad between April 30, 2022 and April 30, 2026; English says no later than April 30 and more than two years. Chinese counts nine months abroad as a year; English says more than nine months. Foreign-born applicants with one or two Chinese parents must document that residence period. English additionally requires those Chinese parents to have held permanent foreign residence before birth, which the Chinese passage does not expressly state. Confirm borderline nationality/residence evidence with CJLU; do not roll these historical dates forward.

Document checklist and upload instructions

Use the document list for your exact program. Prepare these common items, then add any scholarship-specific forms:

  • Identity: passport information page and photograph. Copy your name, birth date and passport number exactly into each application.
  • Education: diploma or official expected-graduation certificate, transcripts and any required degree authentication. Include the original language and certified translations where requested.
  • Language: the required HSK, IELTS, TOEFL or accepted alternative. A medium-of-instruction letter replaces a test only if the program allows it.
  • Academic materials: study plan or research proposal; graduate recommendation letters; supervisor or pre-admission letter when required. Some systems send referees a private submission link.
  • Additional requirements: CSCA results for applicable undergraduate routes; portfolio for relevant arts programs; medical form, police clearance, financial guarantee or guardian documents when listed. Check validity periods before arranging time-sensitive documents.

Scan each complete document clearly. Use the file type and size limit shown beside its upload field; combine multi-page documents only where the system permits. Open every uploaded file to check legibility, page order, signatures and stamps. Keep a copy of everything you submit.
