Historical 2026 CSC Type B; both systems required

The 2026 English guide lists CSC Type B (agency 11415), then CUGB’s system; the Chinese version lists the university system, then CSC. Both require submission, but their different sequences need university confirmation. Prepare qualifications, original/notarised transcripts, study plan, two references, passport, medical and police records, and language evidence. The Chinese guide requires notarised qualification copies and a 1000+ character plan. The Chinese guide also requires an electronic two-inch photo, matching paper photos at registration, and intended-supervisor review of the plan. Undergraduates add CSCA Chinese, mathematics and physics or chemistry. HSK 4 is required for Chinese-taught programmes. The English age wording is under 25/35/40; the Chinese wording includes those ages. Confirm the boundary. The CNY 500 fee is self-funded only, and both guides prohibit online fee payment. This call is closed.

Read the university's procedure
  1. 1

    Choose your program and intake

Check China University of Geosciences (Beijing)'s current prospectus for your degree, teaching language, eligibility and deadline. Arrange supervisor contact or pre-admission first when the program requires it.

    Read official admission instructions

If it asks for the CSC form in the university system, finish CSC first and upload that form. If it asks for university admission or recommendation first, complete that stage before CSC. Document checklist and upload instructions

Use the document list for your exact program. Prepare these common items, then add any scholarship-specific forms:

  • Identity: passport information page and photograph. Copy your name, birth date and passport number exactly into each application.
  • Education: diploma or official expected-graduation certificate, transcripts and any required degree authentication. Include the original language and certified translations where requested.
  • Language: the required HSK, IELTS, TOEFL or accepted alternative. A medium-of-instruction letter replaces a test only if the program allows it.
  • Academic materials: study plan or research proposal; graduate recommendation letters; supervisor or pre-admission letter when required. Some systems send referees a private submission link.
  • Additional requirements: CSCA results for applicable undergraduate routes; portfolio for relevant arts programs; medical form, police clearance, financial guarantee or guardian documents when listed. Check validity periods before arranging time-sensitive documents.

Scan each complete document clearly. Use the file type and size limit shown beside its upload field; combine multi-page documents only where the system permits. Open every uploaded file to check legibility, page order, signatures and stamps. Keep a copy of everything you submit.

  1. Open the university link for your degree level. On an admissions website, find the international-student application entry, then register or sign in. Button names vary between systems.
