How to apply to Honghe University

红河学院

This guide brings together the application routes, published timing, submission methods, scholarship steps, documents, and source links recorded for Honghe University. Requirements can differ by degree, program, teaching language, and funding route. The university’s current notice controls the application.

Funding route on this profile

This profile does not currently list a verified CSC university route. Review the university’s latest notice before choosing a scholarship or self-funded application.

Application fee

The application-fee status has not been verified for the current route. No application fee is published by Honghe University. The 2026-2027 autumn semester international student enrollment guide contains a dedicated fee section headed 收费标准 / "fee standards" which lists tuition of 8,400 yuan per academic year, accommodation of 1,200 yuan per academic year for a four-person room or 800 yuan per academic year for a six-person room, and the other formalities charges — insurance premium 435 yuan per year, physical examination fee 273 yuan per time and residence permit fee 400 yuan per year — but states no application, registration or assessment fee. The English version of the same guide confirms the same four items. The application route is the university's own system at jydwkf.uoh.edu.cn/openRegister, which the guide describes without any charge. Because the university publishes an itemised fee list that omits an application fee, and no page states that applying is free, this is recorded as unknown rather than confirmed-free.

Application timing and source scope

Honghe University (红河学院) publishes dated, semester-scoped international admission windows on its international office site. The 2026-2027 autumn semester intake, published 12 May 2026, opened its online application system from 1 June 2026 to 13 July 2026 and stated that the period included time for supplementing and correcting documents, with late or non-compliant applications not entering eligibility review; enrolment begins September 2026 with admission notices issued that month. The International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship follows national deadlines: 15 May 2026 for September 2026 entry and 31 October 2026 for March 2027 entry — the March 2027 deadline is the only window still open at the date of checking. A 2025-2026 spring semester brochure is also published. No 2027/2028 autumn intake notice had been posted.

Guide scope reviewed 3 October 2026. Dates apply only to the intake and route named in each notice.

Document checklist and upload instructions

Use the document list for your exact program. Prepare these common items, then add any scholarship-specific forms:

  • Identity: passport information page and photograph. Copy your name, birth date and passport number exactly into each application.
  • Education: diploma or official expected-graduation certificate, transcripts and any required degree authentication. Include the original language and certified translations where requested.
  • Language: the required HSK, IELTS, TOEFL or accepted alternative. A medium-of-instruction letter replaces a test only if the program allows it.
  • Academic materials: study plan or research proposal; graduate recommendation letters; supervisor or pre-admission letter when required. Some systems send referees a private submission link.
  • Additional requirements: CSCA results for applicable undergraduate routes; portfolio for relevant arts programs; medical form, police clearance, financial guarantee or guardian documents when listed. Check validity periods before arranging time-sensitive documents.

Scan each complete document clearly. Use the file type and size limit shown beside its upload field; combine multi-page documents only where the system permits. Open every uploaded file to check legibility, page order, signatures and stamps. Keep a copy of everything you submit.
