Language: Undergraduate: HSK Level 4 with a score of 180 or above must be provided at admission, plus the entrance examination set by the college of the chosen major. Preparatory students progress to undergraduate study after passing HSK Level 4 and the major's entrance examination. Master's-level applicants for the Yunnan Provincial Government Scholarship require HSK Level 5 with 180 or above. The International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship sets its own thresholds: undergraduate 4-year requires HSK Level 4 at 210 and HSKK Intermediate at 60; one-academic-year Chinese Language Education requires HSK Level 3 at 270 with an HSKK score; one-semester Chinese Language Education requires HSK Level 3 at 180 with an HSKK score..
