Funding route on this profile

The profile includes CSC-related application guidance for Inner Mongolia University. Type B participation, eligible programs, and deadlines must be confirmed in the current university call.

Agency number recorded: 10126. Confirm it in the current Type B notice before submitting.

Application fee

The application-fee status has not been verified for the current route. The 2026–2027 High-Level Postgraduate CSC notice expressly says its scholarship application is free and IMU charges no fees for that application. The separately recorded regional postgraduate scholarship notice also describes its own route as free. This does not establish a general self-funded application fee or exemption: that amount remains unknown. The English CSC image notice was visually read on 3 October 2026. Application timing and source scope

Inner Mongolia University (内蒙古大学) publishes its international-student windows through the College of International Education (iec.imu.edu.cn). The self-funded prospectus (内蒙古大学自费国际学生招生简章, published 2 June 2026) gives no closing date but states that degree students (学历生) may apply from March each year (学历生每年3月份开放申请) and that non-degree students may apply year-round (全年均可申请), with applications made through the International Student Management Platform at imu.at0086.cn. For the Chinese Government Scholarship 'High-Level Postgraduate' Program 2026-2027 (Type B, university code 10126), the notice published 5 December 2025 states 'Applications are open from today until 24:00 (Beijing Time) on March 1, 2026. Late applications will not be processed.' — that window has closed. The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region People's Government Scholarship for university postgraduate programs (内蒙古自治区人民政府奖学金高校研究生项目) 2026-2027, notice published 5 June 2026, accepted applications from 1 June 2026 to 25 June 2026 and is open to Mongolian citizens only — that window has also closed. The International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship follows the CSC-wide timetable: 15 May 2026 for September 2026 entry (closed) and 31 October 2026 for March 2027 entry, which is the only dated window still open at the retrieval date. CSC admission notices, JW201/JW202 forms and related materials are dispatched in mid-July 2026 and the academic year begins in September; no 2027-2028 intake notice had been published as at 30 September 2026. Separately, the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship one-semester March 2027 entry accepts applications from the notice date (2 March 2026) through 31 October 2026, Beijing time; it remained open on 2 October. This non-degree scholarship route is separate from CSC Type B degree admission. Source: https://iec.imu.edu.cn/content.jsp?urltype=news.NewsContentUrl&wbnewsid=1906&wbtreeid=1002

Document checklist and upload instructions

Use the document list for your exact program. Prepare these common items, then add any scholarship-specific forms:

  • Identity: passport information page and photograph. Copy your name, birth date and passport number exactly into each application.
  • Education: diploma or official expected-graduation certificate, transcripts and any required degree authentication. Include the original language and certified translations where requested.
  • Language: the required HSK, IELTS, TOEFL or accepted alternative. A medium-of-instruction letter replaces a test only if the program allows it.
  • Academic materials: study plan or research proposal; graduate recommendation letters; supervisor or pre-admission letter when required. Some systems send referees a private submission link.
  • Additional requirements: CSCA results for applicable undergraduate routes; portfolio for relevant arts programs; medical form, police clearance, financial guarantee or guardian documents when listed. Check validity periods before arranging time-sensitive documents.

Scan each complete document clearly. Use the file type and size limit shown beside its upload field; combine multi-page documents only where the system permits. Open every uploaded file to check legibility, page order, signatures and stamps. Keep a copy of everything you submit.

Application templates
How to fill the university application

Follow the submission method in your programme's notice. The steps below apply when it requires an online form; email and paper applications follow their separate source-linked instructions above.

  1. Open the university link for your degree level. On an admissions website, find the international-student application entry, then register or sign in. Button names vary between systems.
  2. Choose the correct entry year, degree, teaching language and program. Read its requirements before selecting your funding option.
  3. Enter personal information as it appears in your passport. List education and employment dates accurately, and enter a reliable email address.
  4. Complete the study plan and referee fields. Upload each document to its matching slot; enter a CSC application number only if your route asks for one.
  5. Preview the whole application. Follow the fee instructions, submit the form and check that the system acknowledges submission. Saving a draft does not submit it.
How to fill the CSC application
  1. Open the CSC portal below and register or sign in. Complete your personal details before starting the scholarship application.
  2. Select the application category specified in the current scholarship call. Type A commonly uses a dispatching authority and Type B a university; confirm the exact category and agency number in that route's current notice and check the receiving institution displayed by the system.
  3. Select the degree category, teaching language, major and study period specified by the eligible program. Keep these consistent with your university application.
  4. Upload the requested documents, review all fields and submit. Download the completed application form; sign and upload it to the university or dispatching-authority system when instructed.
  5. Save your application number and a copy of the submitted form. If you withdraw to edit, submit again before the deadline and tell the receiving office if it already began reviewing your application.

University agency number on record: 10126. For Type B, match it to Inner Mongolia University in CSC. Type A uses your dispatching authority's number instead.
