The profile includes CSC-related application guidance for Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine. Type B participation, eligible programs, and deadlines must be confirmed in the current university call.

Application fee

The application-fee status has not been verified for the current route. No application fee is published for Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine, and no official page states that applying is free. The 2026/2027 International Student Enrollment Guide (陕西中医药大学 2026/2027 学年国际学生招生简章, issued 8 December 2025) sets out a full 收费标准 (fee schedule) section covering only tuition, accommodation and insurance, and instructs applicants to email their documents to gjy@sntcm.edu.cn; it names no application, registration or handling fee anywhere in its text. The School of International Education's own pages were searched on 17 September 2026 — the home page, the Recruitment Programs (招生项目), Notices (通知公告), Admission Guide (入学须知) and File Download (文件下载) listings, and the International Student Scholarship Management Measures — and none of them publishes an application fee. Because neither a charge nor an explicit free-application statement could be read, the fee is recorded as unknown rather than confirmed-free, in line with the rule that an omitted fee is never evidence that applying is free. Tuition is published separately and is recorded in the tuition field, not here.

Intake
The 2026/2027 international student enrollment guide admits three categories only — Chinese language preparatory students, undergraduates and master's students — and states that all programmes are taught in Chinese; there is no doctoral intake for international students in this guide.
Intake
Scanned application documents for the 2026/2027 intake had to be emailed to gjy@sntcm.edu.cn by 31 May 2026, and the university states it assesses completeness and authenticity of materials and conducts a written test and interview for master's applicants before issuing admission.
Language requirement
Undergraduate applicants must hold HSK Level 4 and a CSCA (China Scholastic Competency Assessment) score report, or a screenshot of a test registration no later than April 2026, with the final score report due by 31 May 2026; from 2026 onward the CSCA test is compulsory for all applicants to the university's bachelor's programmes.
Language requirement
Master's applicants must hold HSK Level 5 and supply recommendation letters from two or more experts of associate professor rank or above in a relevant field.
Entry requirements
All applicants must be at least 18 years old with at least a senior high school diploma, hold a valid ordinary foreign passport and not hold Chinese nationality; ethnic Chinese applicants who acquired foreign nationality must have held the foreign passport or nationality for four years or more and have actually lived abroad for at least two of the most recent four years.
Physical examination
The guide requires a criminal record certificate and a Foreigner Physical Examination Record, each valid for six months, plus proof of financial support (a bank deposit certificate), a personal statement and study plan of 800 characters, and a colour ID photograph of at least 320x240 pixels in JPG format named after the passport number.
Intake
Registration for the 2026/2027 intake was 1 to 30 September 2026; the university states that early arrivals are not accommodated, that late arrivals must obtain prior leave from the School of International Education, and that unapproved late registration is treated as abandoning both the place and any scholarship.
Tuition
Tuition for 2026/2027 is CNY 13,000 per academic year for Chinese language preparatory students, CNY 17,000 for undergraduates and CNY 25,000 for master's students; accommodation is CNY 1,200 (four-person room) or CNY 2,400 (double room) per academic year, medical insurance is CNY 800 per academic year, and a CNY 1,000 dormitory deposit is payable at check-in.
Scholarship
The university's International Student Scholarship Management Measures list five scholarship categories it administers — Chinese Government Scholarship country programme, Chinese Government Scholarship Silk Road Program, Shaanxi Province Sanqin Foreign Student Scholarship, the university's own Outstanding International Student Scholarship and its International Student Special Excellence Award — and the university also publishes an application form for the Xi'an Belt and Road Foreign Student Scholarship.
Age requirement
The university's Outstanding International Student Scholarship is paid at CNY 6,000 (first class), CNY 4,000 (second class) and CNY 2,000 (third class) per person per year, and its Special Excellence Award at CNY 1,000 per person per year; entry applicants for the master's award must hold a bachelor's degree and be under 30, and entry applicants for the bachelor's award must hold a senior high school equivalent and be under 25.
Application deadline
The International Student Scholarship Management Measures state that applications are submitted to the School of International Education by a scholarship application deadline, but no dated scholarship deadline is published for any named intake; the national and provincial awards follow the policy of the competent higher authority for the year in question.
Tuition notes
Published in the 2026/2027 academic year international student enrollment guide, section 三、收费标准. Chinese language preparatory students CNY 13,000 per person per academic year; undergraduates CNY 17,000 per person per academic year; master's students CNY 25,000 per person per academic year. All programmes are taught in Chinese and start in September. A CNY 1,000 dormitory deposit is payable on check-in. The guide states that tuition excludes textbooks and supplementary materials, and that return travel, medical examination, visa fees and living, transport and medical costs in China are the student's own responsibility.

Published dates and unconfirmed windows

Application timing and source scope

For the 2026/2027 academic year, Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine (陕西中医药大学) publishes a single dated self-funded admission window. Its International Student Enrollment Guide for 2026/2027, issued by the School of International Education on 8 December 2025, requires applicants to send scanned application documents to gjy@sntcm.edu.cn by 31 May 2026; the guide also states that the recommended CSCA (China Scholastic Competency Assessment) test sittings for the same intake were December 2025, January 2026, March 2026 and April 2026, and that undergraduate applicants who sat the test later had until 31 May 2026 to submit the final score report. Master's applicants are additionally assessed by written test and interview, and admission results are issued by email. Registration for the 2026/2027 intake ran from 1 to 30 September 2026, and the guide warns that early arrivals are not accommodated and that late arrivals forfeit both admission and scholarship eligibility. The 31 May 2026 deadline has now closed. No separate self-funded window, no university-scholarship deadline and no CSC deadline is published as a date on the university's own pages: the 2026/2027 guide is silent on the Chinese Government Scholarship, whose national windows are set by the China Scholarship Council and the Chinese embassy rather than by the university. No 2027/2028 intake notice had been published as of 17 September 2026. Confidence is "verified" for the 31 May 2026 self-funded deadline because it is dated in an official 2026/2027 intake guide; the scholarship windows are not dated by the university and are therefore not asserted here.

Guide scope reviewed 3 October 2026. Dates apply only to the intake and route named in each notice.

Document checklist and upload instructions

Use the document list for your exact program. Prepare these common items, then add any scholarship-specific forms:

  • Identity: passport information page and photograph. Copy your name, birth date and passport number exactly into each application.
  • Education: diploma or official expected-graduation certificate, transcripts and any required degree authentication. Include the original language and certified translations where requested.
  • Language: the required HSK, IELTS, TOEFL or accepted alternative. A medium-of-instruction letter replaces a test only if the program allows it.
  • Academic materials: study plan or research proposal; graduate recommendation letters; supervisor or pre-admission letter when required. Some systems send referees a private submission link.
  • Additional requirements: CSCA results for applicable undergraduate routes; portfolio for relevant arts programs; medical form, police clearance, financial guarantee or guardian documents when listed. Check validity periods before arranging time-sensitive documents.

Scan each complete document clearly. Use the file type and size limit shown beside its upload field; combine multi-page documents only where the system permits. Open every uploaded file to check legibility, page order, signatures and stamps. Keep a copy of everything you submit.

  4. Complete the study plan and referee fields. Upload each document to its matching slot; enter a CSC application number only if your route asks for one.
  5. Preview the whole application. Follow the fee instructions, submit the form and check that the system acknowledges submission. Saving a draft does not submit it.
How to fill the CSC application
  1. Open the CSC portal below and register or sign in. Complete your personal details before starting the scholarship application.

  3. Select the degree category, teaching language, major and study period specified by the eligible program. Keep these consistent with your university application.
  4. Upload the requested documents, review all fields and submit. Download the completed application form; sign and upload it to the university or dispatching-authority system when instructed.
