Application dates, fees and sources
For Liaocheng University, refer to the current official admissions notice for opening and closing dates by program and intake. Dates from a previous intake should not be used as the next intake's deadline. Directory-wide opening checks were last completed October 9, 2026.
Fee note: Liaocheng University's 2026 International Student Programs prospectus (聊城大学二〇二六年国际学生项目), a 25-page PDF downloaded on 23 September 2026 from the School of International Education's own site at sie.lcu.edu.cn/docs/2025-11/20251101092926321947.pdf and parsed with pdftotext -layout, carries a Fees section headed 5. 缴费 with a table column 金额(人民币元). It lists 申请费 (application fee) at 300 每生, separately from 注册费 (registration fee) at 500 每生, 学费 (tuition) at 6,500 - 12,000 每学期, on-campus accommodation at 3,000 - 4,500 每学期(不包括寒暑假), comprehensive international student insurance at 1,000 每年, residence permit at 400 每年 and medical examination at 300 每生. Section 7 of the same prospectus confirms the sequence, instructing applicants to pay the application fee of 300 yuan online, or on arrival at Liaocheng University, in order to complete the application (在线支付申请费(300 元)或在到达聊城大学后缴纳,以便完成申请). The 300 is therefore the application fee; the 6,500-12,000 figure on the same table is per-semester tuition and is recorded elsewhere, not here.

Application timing and source scope
Full timing notes and historical dates
The current official 2026 International Student Programs brochure, posted November 1, 2025, gives a recurring general rule: online/offline applications for the following semester close at the end of May or November, or two months before the relevant program begins. It does not assign a specific calendar date to a named 2026 or 2027 intake, so preserve this as a recurring rule rather than a confirmed date for either cycle. A separate older Chinese-language/short-term program page, dated March 1, 2025, specifies March 15–July 15 for autumn entry and November 15–January 15 for spring entry; these are route-specific published dates but are not verified as the current 2026/27 calendar. The university's 2025 International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship rules list deadlines of April 15, May 15, September 15, and October 31 for the then-published entry rounds; these are historical, and no 2026 or 2027 scholarship round was found. The CSC and Shandong scholarship pages are currently unavailable (CSC page says under maintenance; Shandong page returns 404), so their current dates remain unresolved. No 2027/28 guide was listed as of October 5, 2026.
Guide scope reviewed 3 October 2026. Dates apply only to the intake and route named in each notice.

Create an account, complete the form and upload supporting documents; the brochure also permits email or designated institution submission. Pay the CNY 300 application fee online or after arrival. Document review normally leads to a comprehensive test or interview, with possible extra assessments; university-approved outstanding applicants may be exempt. Admission depends on academic and language evidence and assessment results. Applications stop at the end of May or November, or two months before the program; these recurring dates do not establish a new 2027 call. Use admission documents for the visa and register as instructed. The separately listed CNY 500 registration fee is not the application fee.

Document checklist and upload instructions
Use the document list for your exact program. Prepare these common items, then add any scholarship-specific forms:
- Identity: passport information page and photograph. Copy your name, birth date and passport number exactly into each application.
- Education: diploma or official expected-graduation certificate, transcripts and any required degree authentication. Include the original language and certified translations where requested.
- Language: the required HSK, IELTS, TOEFL or accepted alternative. A medium-of-instruction letter replaces a test only if the program allows it.
- Academic materials: study plan or research proposal; graduate recommendation letters; supervisor or pre-admission letter when required. Some systems send referees a private submission link.
- Additional requirements: CSCA results for applicable undergraduate routes; portfolio for relevant arts programs; medical form, police clearance, financial guarantee or guardian documents when listed. Check validity periods before arranging time-sensitive documents.
Scan each complete document clearly. Use the file type and size limit shown beside its upload field; combine multi-page documents only where the system permits. Open every uploaded file to check legibility, page order, signatures and stamps. Keep a copy of everything you submit.
Application templatesHow to fill the university application
Follow the submission method in your programme's notice. The steps below apply when it requires an online form; email and paper applications follow their separate source-linked instructions above.
- Open the university link for your degree level. On an admissions website, find the international-student application entry, then register or sign in. Button names vary between systems.
- Choose the correct entry year, degree, teaching language and program. Read its requirements before selecting your funding option.
- Enter personal information as it appears in your passport. List education and employment dates accurately, and enter a reliable email address.
- Complete the study plan and referee fields. Upload each document to its matching slot; enter a CSC application number only if your route asks for one.
- Preview the whole application. Follow the fee instructions, submit the form and check that the system acknowledges submission. Saving a draft does not submit it.
