From the Fee Structure page of the LNTU English site (en.lntu.edu.cn/Study_LNTU/Fee_Structure.htm), read 17 September 2026; the same figures are repeated in the Fee Structure section of the 2024 September intake notice (Bachelor 13,500 CNY/year, Master 20,000 CNY/year, Doctor 30,000 CNY/year). Programmes run 4 years for a bachelor, 3 years for a master and 3 years for a doctorate. Accommodation: Fuxin campus single room CNY 6,000-8,000 per year and double room CNY 3,000-4,000 per year per person; Huludao campus single room CNY 6,000-8,000 per year per person and double room CNY 4,000-5,000 per year per person. These are annual charges and are never an application fee.

Accommodation

Fuxin campus: single room CNY 6,000-8,000 per year, double room CNY 3,000-4,000 per year per person. Huludao campus: single room CNY 6,000-8,000 per year per person, double room CNY 4,000-5,000 per year per person. All rooms include a television and refrigerator, with public or private bathroom according to campus, per the LNTU Fee Structure page. The 2024 intake notice also quotes CNY 3,000 for an ordinary double room and CNY 4,000 for a luxury triple room.

Medical insurance

Comprehensive medical insurance CNY 800 per year. All international students must buy insurance during their study in China and pay the premium themselves on arrival; a student who does not pay in the designated time cannot register.

Residence permit

CNY 800 per year for a one-year permit; CNY 400 for a permit of less than one year.

Physical examination

The physical examination is listed among the costs to be paid by the student himself, according to the actual charge; no figure is published. The Foreigner Physical Examination Form result is valid for 6 months.

Entry requirements

Language: Applicants for Chinese-taught master's or doctoral study must have HSK Level 4; the Liaoning Province Government Scholarship requires a valid HSK 4 certificate with a score of at least 180, valid for two years. Applicants for English-taught programmes should provide an English proficiency certificate such as IELTS or TOEFL. Undergraduate scholarship recipients must register for Chinese-taught credit courses unless exempted.. Age: Self-funded bachelor's applicants must be 18-24; master's applicants under 30; doctoral applicants under 35; Chinese language course applicants 18-28 and the preparatory course 16-23. CSC applicants must be under 35 for a master's and under 40 for a doctorate; Liaoning Province Government Scholarship applicants must be under 40.. Required degree: Bachelor's applicants need a high school diploma or above; master's applicants a bachelor's degree in a related major; doctoral applicants a master's degree in a related field. CSC master's applicants need a bachelor's degree and doctoral applicants a master's degree.. Financial guarantee: Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health. Required documents include a notarised highest diploma and transcripts, two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors, a study plan of about 1,000 words, a Foreigner Physical Examination Form valid for 6 months, a police clearance certificate or no-criminal-record commitment, a passport copy and, for self-funded applicants, a bank statement. CSC applicants must not hold any other Chinese government scholarship concurrently; concealment bars reapplication for three years.
