For the 2026 intake the self-funded international admission window ran from publication of the 2026 annual guide (即日起, published 2026-06-03) until 2026年6月30日; that 2026 cycle is now closed, since today is 2026-09-23. The Chinese original of the 2026 guide states 即日起至2026年6月30日, and the separate 2026-07-24 process notice generalises this as 申请截止日期为每年6月30日 (each year's deadline is 30 June), with scholarship applicants following their sponsoring scheme's own rules instead. The English half of the same 2026 guide page mistranslates the closing date as 'From now until June 20, 2026'; the Chinese text on that page and the Chinese and English text of the 2026-07-24 process notice all say 30 June, so 30 June is the operative date and 20 June is a translation error on the university's own page. No separate university-scholarship deadline, CSC-system deadline or provincial-scholarship deadline is published in either page: the guides describe the 内蒙古自治区人民政府奖学金 only as a programme the university participates in, with no date given. No 2027 intake notice exists as of 2026-09-23 — the 招生信息 (Admission) listing page at https://dice.imust.edu.cn/index/l1/xxzkd/zsxx.htm carries only the 2026 annual guide (2026-06-03), the 2026-07-24 process notice, and a historical 2021-2022 Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Government Scholarship guide (published 2022-06-10), so the next-intake window is not yet published. Use the document list for your exact program. Prepare these common items, then add any scholarship-specific forms:
- Identity: passport information page and photograph. Copy your name, birth date and passport number exactly into each application.
- Education: diploma or official expected-graduation certificate, transcripts and any required degree authentication. Include the original language and certified translations where requested.
- Language: the required HSK, IELTS, TOEFL or accepted alternative. A medium-of-instruction letter replaces a test only if the program allows it.
- Academic materials: study plan or research proposal; graduate recommendation letters; supervisor or pre-admission letter when required. Some systems send referees a private submission link.
- Additional requirements: CSCA results for applicable undergraduate routes; portfolio for relevant arts programs; medical form, police clearance, financial guarantee or guardian documents when listed. Check validity periods before arranging time-sensitive documents.
