CSC Scholarship Contact: Who Should You Email?

There is no single CSC scholarship email for every applicant. Contact the authority named in your current route notice and include the details it needs.
1.Is there one official CSC scholarship email address?
No single email address handles every Chinese Government Scholarship application. Current notices route questions through the authority responsible for the specific program. The Chinese Embassy in Poland's 2026/2027 Type A notice directs applicants to its science and education section. The University of Science and Technology Beijing's 2026 Type B notice tells applicants to consult USTB directly.
Start with the current notice for your country, university or named program. An address published for a different route may reach an office that cannot see or change your application.
2.Who should Type A applicants contact?
Contact the embassy, ministry, dispatching authority or program office named in the current Type A notice. That office normally manages the local deadline, nomination steps and any extra handoff outside the CSC portal. In Poland's 2026/2027 cycle, applicants had to email their application files to the embassy address, and the embassy also used email for interview invitations and confirmations.

3.Who should Type B applicants contact?
Contact the international student admissions office at the university receiving your Type B application. Use the address printed in the current scholarship notice, because a general university address or an old brochure may reach the wrong team.
USTB's current Silk Road notice says the university reviews applications and informs results by email. Northeast Normal University's 2026/2027 Type B guide says its admissions office may email applicants for supplementary materials or results. These are university-specific channels, not general CSC inboxes.
4.Which office should handle a portal or form problem?
First identify which system has the problem. A university-portal error belongs with that university's admissions office. For a CSC form issue involving the Program Category, agency number or receiving authority, follow the correction instructions in the current route notice and contact the authority that is meant to receive the form.
Some programs publish a precise handoff. Jiangnan University's 2026 China Link instructions tell applicants to email the university after submission with their full name, CSC serial number and program name. 5.Who sends the CSC scholarship result?
The notification channel depends on the route. Qingdao University's 2026 Type B guide says the university informs applicants by email after receiving CSC's final decision. Jiangnan University's China Link instructions likewise state that CSC notifies the university and the university then notifies applicants.
For a Type A application, monitor the embassy or dispatching authority's published channel, the registered email address and any portal named in its notice. 6.What should you include in a scholarship email?
Use the subject format required by the notice. If none is given, identify your full name, CSC serial number if already issued, program name, Program Category, agency number and receiving university or authority. State one clear question and quote the exact field or system message causing the problem.
Jiangnan University's current instructions specifically require the applicant's full name, CSC serial number and China Link program name after submission. This is a useful model only when your own notice does not prescribe a different format. Do not send an account password or unrelated personal documents.
7.How should you contact and follow up safely?
Open the current official notice and copy the contact from that page. Confirm that the office matches your route, send one concise message, retain the sent email and check the registered inbox, spam folder and application portals. Chang'an University's 2026/2027 Type B notice tells applicants to monitor both the university system and email for application updates and publishes a named admissions contact.
