AAU published separate 2026 rules for its CSC graduate route and broader scholarship intake, with different deadlines, coverage and fee timing.
1.Which scholarships did AAU list for 2026?
Anhui Agricultural University's 2026 international-student guide lists a full Chinese Government Scholarship and two partial awards: the Anhui Provincial Government Scholarship and the Anhui Agricultural University Scholarship. The separate High-level Graduate Program guide describes one specific Chinese Government Scholarship route for full-time master's and doctoral study (2026 international-student guide; 2026 CSC guide).
These routes do not share one deadline or one coverage package. Start with the Anhui Agricultural University profile, then use the dated notice for the scholarship and degree level you want. The university's current scholarship page also separates the full award from the two partial awards.
2.Are the published 2026 deadlines still open?
The published 2026 windows are closed. AAU's CSC High-level Graduate Program accepted applications from 8:00 a.m. on January 1 to 5:00 p.m. on March 1, 2026. The broader 2026 international-student guide used May 30 for full scholarships and June 20 for partial scholarships (CSC application guide; international-student guide). All three dates had passed by September 15, 2026.
AAU posted both dated guide pages on January 13, 2026 (CSC notice page; general admission notice). They document the completed 2026 intake and do not establish a 2027/28 deadline. Wait for a new dated notice or written confirmation from AAU before relying on any month or day for the next cycle.
3.How did the 2026 CSC graduate route work?
The High-level Graduate Program was a Category B route using AAU institutional code 10364. Applicants had to submit both the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System form and the AAU international-student application. AAU's official online application page links to both systems, and the agency-number guide explains why the current notice must control the code.
The 2026 award covered tuition, on-campus accommodation, a living allowance and comprehensive medical insurance. AAU screened the file, the relevant academic unit organized an online interview, AAU submitted proposed candidates to CSC, and CSC conducted the final expert review (official CSC guide). Passing AAU's review did not guarantee CSC approval.
4.Who met the 2026 academic and language rules?
The 2026 CSC guide required a valid foreign passport and good physical and mental health. Master's applicants needed a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification, while doctoral applicants needed a master's degree or an equivalent qualification. The separate general scholarship guide set age limits of 35 for master's applicants and 40 for doctoral applicants under its full-scholarship rules (CSC guide; general guide).
For the High-level Graduate Program, English-taught applicants needed valid proof at IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 69 or an accepted equivalent. AAU waived that proof for native English speakers and applicants who had earned a degree from an English-taught program in an English-speaking country. Chinese-taught applicants needed HSK 4 or above unless they had graduated from a Chinese-taught program at a Chinese university. These were 2026 route rules, so the next notice must be checked for changes.
5.What did the provincial and university awards cover?
AAU's 2026 general guide and current scholarship page list annual partial-award values of CNY 20,000 for undergraduates, CNY 30,000 for master's students and CNY 50,000 for doctoral students. They also state that recipients remain responsible for tuition, on-campus accommodation, living expenses and comprehensive medical insurance (2026 general guide; AAU scholarship page).
Do not describe either partial award as fully funded, and do not assume the listed amount is paid as a monthly stipend. The 2026 general guide grouped the Anhui Provincial Government Scholarship and AAU Scholarship under the same partial-scholarship section and June 20 deadline. A future notice may change the value, eligible programs, payment method or deadline.
6.Which documents and fee rules mattered in 2026?
The CSC guide required the CSC form, AAU online registration, a passport scan, degree certificates and transcripts, language evidence, a study or research proposal of at least 800 words, two recommendations from scholars holding associate-professor rank or above, a medical report valid within six months, and a no-criminal-record document valid within six months. Documents not in Chinese or English needed a notarized Chinese or English translation (2026 CSC guide). Use the document authentication guide to identify the separate cross-border check for the country that issued each document.
Fee timing also differed by guide. The CSC guide charged a non-refundable CNY 400 application fee and said unpaid applications would not be accepted. AAU's current fee schedule lists the same amount but says admitted applicants must pay it by September 1. Follow the payment instruction attached to your exact route and intake, and confirm it in the current portal before transferring money.
7.What should I verify for the next AAU intake?
Find the new dated notice on AAU's international-education site and match it to your degree and scholarship. Confirm the application window, eligible programs, teaching language, age and academic rules, required portals, Category B code if applicable, document list, application-fee timing, award coverage, interview process, result channel and restrictions on holding another scholarship. Do not reuse the 2026 dates as a forecast.
