Chengdu University of Technology Scholarships 2026

Chengdu University of Technology lists Chinese Government Scholarship, Sichuan Provincial Government Scholarship, Chengdu Municipal Government Scholarship, and its own university scholarship. Its 2026 postgraduate guide limits the Chinese Government Scholarship and CDUT award to master's and doctoral study, while the provincial and city awards are listed for bachelor's, master's, and doctoral students (CDUT 2026 postgraduate guide).

The university's current scholarship directory separates these routes and was checked on September 14, 2026. Start with the CDUT university profile, then open the notice for your degree and applicant type. CDUT also hosts China Link, but that is a separate short-term research route covered in the China Link guide.

The published 2026 application dates have passed. CDUT's general postgraduate and undergraduate guides both used June 15, 2026 as the admission deadline (postgraduate guide; undergraduate guide). The 2026/27 Chinese Government Scholarship High-level Postgraduate Program used March 1, 2026 for submission in both required systems (CSC Type B call).

Those pages document the 2026 cycle; they do not create a 2027 deadline. Wait for a new dated call or written confirmation from CDUT before submitting for the next intake. A scholarship page remaining online does not mean its application window remains open.

The 2026/27 High-level Postgraduate Program was limited to master's and doctoral study, offered Chinese- and English-taught options, and covered tuition, a living stipend, comprehensive medical insurance, and on-campus accommodation. The call required Type B and CDUT agency number 10616 (official CDUT CSC call).

Applicants had to submit in both the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System and CDUT's admission system by March 1, 2026. CDUT warned that it could not process an application missing from its own system. For a later cycle, confirm that the same agency number, eligible programs, two-system sequence, and deadline still apply. CDUT's June 11, 2026 page for the “Study at CDUT” freshman scholarship says it waives tuition, on-campus accommodation, and insurance and adds a living allowance. It covers four years for doctoral students and three years for master's students. The page says eligible postgraduate applicants do not file a separate scholarship application; CDUT decides the award during admission (CDUT freshman scholarship).

The page does not publish the living-allowance amount, so do not infer one from CSC or another CDUT scheme. It gives a general January–July application period but says the annual admission guide controls the exact timing. Confirm the next intake's amount, duration, renewal rules, and whether the no-separate-application process remains unchanged.

They are separate government awards. CDUT's current Sichuan page describes an annual award for strong international students already studying at the university: CNY 20,000 for undergraduates, CNY 25,000 for master's students, CNY 30,000 for doctoral students, and CNY 10,000 for non-degree students. It says the scholarship must be applied for each year and that the detailed university notice controls the application (Sichuan scholarship page).

The Chengdu municipal page lists CNY 20,000 per year for undergraduates, CNY 25,000 for master's students, CNY 30,000 for doctoral students, and CNY 1,000 per month for non-degree students up to CNY 10,000. It tells admission applicants to select “apply for scholarship” instead of submitting a separate scholarship form and says CDUT decides after reviewing the file and assessment (Chengdu scholarship page). Do not transfer one route's timing or procedure to the other.

CDUT's 2026 undergraduate guide lists the Sichuan provincial award, the Chengdu municipal award, and a university living allowance. It says selected students may receive CNY 800 per month for 10 months in each academic year within the standard four-year program (CDUT 2026 undergraduate guide). It does not list the postgraduate CSC Type B route as an undergraduate option.

The same guide describes Chinese-taught undergraduate programs and required applicants to be 18–26, hold a high-school qualification, have HSK 4 or above, and submit a CSCA score. Its June 15, 2026 application deadline has passed. Use these facts only for the 2026 intake until CDUT publishes the next dated undergraduate guide.

Match the scholarship page to your degree, intake, and status as a new or continuing student. Confirm the current deadline, eligible programs, teaching language, age and academic rules, application system, CSC category and agency number when relevant, required documents, award amount, duration, renewal process, result channel, and restrictions on holding another government scholarship.
